Hazel

They sell a “fried chicken” sandwich which is literally just a reheated breaded chicken patty, the kind you find in your supermarket frozen section. How can you even feel good about selling this? $13 for a $1 frozen patty. It wasn’t average, it was just bad. My wife got the burger, and that was decent. Won’t be coming back.

Had some great pizza the last couple months via there curbside takeout ( precovid we went in person). You can get mixed drinks to go, their margaritas as really good with pizza. There curbside setup is great, you park out front and moments later someone is out there asking for your order name etc. One of the friendliest curbsides around

Hazel had the best pizza in the area, and wonderful crew working there, unfortunately since covid started they remain closed to dine in, though online they still claim to be dining. It’s a second year in a row I’m visiting Brattleboro, looking forward to visit hazel and upon arrive I meet a sad “take out only” sign. It’s ridiculous. change the name of the place to hazel-takeout, update google search and your website or shut the place. What is the point. So disappointing. Everything else around them has been open for over a year. Very Unfair from the customer point of view to arrive and never go in.

Total surprise here. We were coming from north-central Vermont, and missed out on a burger joint near Jamaica, and really wanted a burger. So I typed in on google, and Hazel was near the bottom of the list. I would bump it to the top, because their pizza and burgers were superb!!! I ordered a double-patty for myself with fries, and pizza with special toppings for my daughter. We were thrilled with how quickly our order was ready, and how very tasty the food was. Check this out: you know how if you don't eat the fries right away, they get kinda stiff and lose their flavor?! Well, Hazel's fries were awesome, and I didn't finish them. Next day they were just as tasty and soft, just chilled. Burger was cooked to perfection with all the fix-ins put neatly around it inside the take-out box, so that I could add what I wanted. Build your own pizza was aesthetically pleasing, and cooked to perfection. Hazel is an excellent burger and pizza joint in Brattleboro, and I look forward to going there again! A+++!!!
