Panda North

Great authentic Chinese and Japanese food in Vermont. I loved how they quickly served everything hot and neat. BUT one concern is their "Sweet and Sour Chicken" was horrible. I couldn't eat a piece and I wasn't asked by my server, as to how is everything going - so I chose to keep it silent and shared food with my wife instead. Other than that one thing, I recommend this place, the ambience is impressive.

First, I reserve 5 Stars for the very rarest occasions and I take my reviews seriously. Especially the positive ones. Panda North has been my "Go To" Chinese restaurant for maybe 40 years. It is very rare to find good Chinese or especially Japanese food outside of small ethnic neighborhoods in big cities, so this was a very welcome find. In short, the food is outstanding, as is the staff, and the room is very comfortable. The prices are fair, the portions are more than adequate., and they are very high quality and consistent. I am very decerning (picky) and have never been remotely disappointed. Among the many disappointing things that came with Covid was their need to close their indoor seating (they stayed open for take-out.) Thankfully, they are back in full operation and once again are our go to restaurant. My family and I strongly recommend them and hope you enjoy the experience as much as we always do.

Pleasantly surprised with this place. The wife is hard to please but she really liked the tangerine chicken and the kids like the teriyaki chicken while I really enjoyed the beef broccoli. Only issue was the service. Really slow and was the only guy on our side. Took awhile to get napkins, refills and to take our order. We would go back. It was also alot of fun ease dropping of the table of 4 old lady's next to us discussing politics......so funny!!!!!

This was the worst place I have ever eaten for Chinese food. I was on my way to mass and was really hungry so I stopped by this place I ordered a pu up for 2 it had only 2 crab Rangoons 2 bone spare rib 2 shrimp balls that were soggy and no shrimp in them . The crab Rangoon's were hard to stomach.they charged me with a To go box which I never heard of in my whole 40 years of life.i would never eat at this place again. If you are hungry I suggest to google another place anything would be better than panda north.

Car broke down on Christmas Day, only place open aside from McDonald’s. Was very lovely, from ordering over the phone with v helpful staff, to amazingly efficient contactless text enabled pickup. Hot/sour soup, shrimp in lobster sauce, and spicy chicken in tea sauce were all delightful, would absolutely order again, and paired well with our French grapefruit rose

Stopped in for a bite to eat. Always been a beacon of safety as far as Chinese food is concerned. Ordered the wine and noticed right away... the glasses were dirty. They removed them from our bill unapologetically. Then I started to notice the walls and the ceiling. The dust gathered around every single vent. Water stained tiles. Even the wall next to our table... filthy. Diner beware. Panda North is not as it once was.
