Sopranos Grill

Sopranos has been a favorite for my wife and I for years. It is with a heavy heart that I have to give them just a 3. My wife's eggplant Parmesan was great. A large portion that tasted good and left us with leftovers. My Stromboli is another matter. It was like the cook went to sleep and forgot about it. It was so burnt and hard I couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. Had to return it and ask for another one. Second one was good and what I was expecting. The servers were great and did well.

Our lunch ticket was about $50 and they couldn’t be bothered to look at the glass before serving my drink in it. It had a filthy residue that appeared to be dried milk. I hadn’t been paying attention until I had drank most of it. The 2nd issue was that my husband ordered a Stromboli which barely warm in the middle even though it had just been brought out. We were very dissatisfied with our experience and will not be returning. The only reason I gave 2 stars was that our waiter was nice.

Hate leaving bad reviews for local restaurants but this place was just terrible, glasses were dirty, dishes/plates were chipped, and food was really bland. The only thing that was good was the bread. Menu's we’re sticky, underneath the table looked like it hasn’t been swept in a while. Don’t think the A/C works because it felt hotter in the restaurant than it was outside and it was 88 degrees outside, we were sweating sitting there waiting for the food. It took a while before the server even came to the table to take our order. Would not recommend eating there.

If you would've asked me in the past about going to Sopranos, I would've said absolutely. Now I'm begging you not to go. Bless our waiter's heart... he was really kind, but he brought out the wrong order. He wasn't the real issue though. First of all, the table was dirty. Then, it took forever for anyone to come to our table. During our time there, you could very clearly hear the staff fussing at each other in the back. It was uncomfortable. Then, when they got my order right, it was burnt. I told them to take it off the order and that I would just share with my husband. Well, then the cook and who I assume to be the manger starting arguing right behind us. This was also super awkward. The cook kept saying he was going to fix it and "wouldn't screw it up this time". I politely turned around and told them not to remake it, as I no longer wanted it. We had already been there for almost an hour. I ate part of my husband's sandwich and he opted out saying it didn't taste right to him. Also, there was a random tray of bread sitting in an open part of the dining room. I guess they ran out of space in the kitchen? We do not plan to come back.

I don’t like discouraged customers from using local restaurants but Soprano’s menus pricing state one price but the ticket when paying will show a different price and they are using the Covid-19 to charge a credit or debit surcharge. Also one of our order for chili plate had a waffle fries in the in chili. The Sorprano chicken plater was over cooked. Check the receipt for the overcharges DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

Arrived there Friday evening at 6:00pm and were seated right away, there were only three other tables seated. Our waiter was friendly but not skilled in food service. Our drink orders were taken and served after a twenty minute wait. Our food order was finally taken and took approximately 45 minutes before we received our food. We asked for bread/rolls with dinner and were told that the bread was cooking. We asked for bread three more times while eating, and were told that it was still being baked....over an hour later after our first request. We have been to the restaurant many times, and last year had similar experiences and stopped going. We moved in the area and thought we would give it another try. Needless to say the experience was not any better. By the time we left at approximately 8pm we were the only table left. As a former restaurant owner in PA, I would say that that's not a good sign...having and empty dinning area at 8:00pm on a Friday Evening. I wish the owners the best of luck, and know it's a difficult business, but if they don't improve the service, and staff they won't make it.
