Cracker Barrel

ONE STAR 😪⭐This review is for the service tonight. Service here has been okay for the most part, but tonight was a wreck!!! It's Mother's Day. We went to Biba's in Flowery Branch first, but they told us it'd be an hour and a half wait. We were hangry, so we left. We ended up at Cracker Barrel at around 5:20p, and we were seated fairly quickly... Took about 20 mins. Right off the bat, our waitress, Haley, took forever and had no common courtesy (until she realized we were upset aka no tip). We ordered our drinks and food all at once, and we also requested getting the biscuits out before everything else came. It took us around 20 minutes to get our drinks after being seated. We waited and waited: no biscuits. She would walk right by us without refilling our drinks or giving us updates on when our food's going to be done. We finally asked where the biscuits were and she had completely forgotten to get them. It was 6:40 by the time we got the biscuits. Our waitress would disappear for long periods of time throughout, and we wouldn't see her but about every 5-10 minutes or so. Usually I have a lot of sympathy for overworked waiters BUT she only had 2 tables the entire time we were there. Once we finally got our food, we were highly disappointed. We both got chicken and dumplings. The first thing I noticed was that there were pieces of breading and green beans in the bowl with my dumplings. I was hungry though, so I disregarded that and began to eat. That's what I realized that they came WITHOUT CHICKEN. We waited again to tell our waitress, and she literally brought 2 plates back, with just boiled chicken on them. That's all. No seasonings or sauce. It looked disgusting, as you can see from the photos. It was about 7:00 at this time. We wait an hour and a half for THAT. 🤮 Suddenly I wasn't so hungry anymore and wasn't able finish my dinner. I know that restaurants are short staffed right now, and servers are always having to scramble around; but there are ways to work more efficiently and be more respectful of the customers. Do better, Cracker Barrel. My last review was 5 stars, but this changed my opinion. The last few times have been unpleasant but this sealed the deal for me. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I ordered 2 family meals and I swear the quality depends on who is working that day. I had ordered them before and the portions were good, but this time the family meals were very skimpy. The person packaging it just grabbed what ever container was close by. A family of 4 is what they should feed. They used the small containers, last time they were appropriate. Pictures included with the mini syrup bottles to show small portions. Next time I will check it before I leave. Food is always tasty though. I just re read the portions in the website and it says feeds 5…. There was only four slices of meatloaf.I guess one of kids can’t eat! I need a call, I spent over $100.00!!!

Place curbside order. Still was waiting over 40min for order. I believe there was a shift change 10min after I placed my order. Bunches of people in the store side, but restaurant side was unengaged in any priority for the customer with To Go or curbside orders. Seems like atmosphere is a little too laid back. 2 other customer besides myself haveing same problems. Not sure what the problem is concerning the customer NO Service.

Very slow!!! 44 minutes after ordering. The food finally made it to the table. Food was mediocre at best. 15 minutes after placing the order,.. waitress wanted to know if everything was ok so far, had to tell her biscuits would be good to have st this time., had to ask for straws. We were with in 1 minute of going else where for supper. I have left a bad revue in Athens do i fo not think this revue will get any where either. I use to like Cracker Barrel,.... i can sssure you i will NEVER spend any of my hard eared money there. Their quality of food and customer service absolutely sux!!! I am done!!! 10-21-21 Got a 1 800 number to call customer support, evidently too many others were complaining too, waited 10+ minutes. Let me say this so ALL cracker barrel stores can understand,.... me and my money are done,.... i will NEVER go to a cracker barrel again!!!

Wonderful to be at Cracker Barrel. Feels almost like back to normal. Roaring fire going on a brisk, cloudy afternoon. They were busy, as you would expect for Saturday lunch, but got us right in and served in no time. Hailey did a wonderful job, as did her co-workers in the kitchen and throughout the dining room. Food was delightful, just as you would expect from Cracker Barrel, my friend got a big meal, but I tried something different, the Beans and Greens Plate. Wonderful, light lunch, enjoyed it very much. I'm trying to support our local businesses as we get used to the new normal, Won't You Join Me?

The mama's pancake 🥞 😍 😋 breakfast is my favorite 😋. They had a few new dishes that we also ordered. Loaded casserole tater tots which my daughter enjoyed...along with the mama's pancake breakfast sampler. Our waitress was very attentive to all our needs. It was our first time visiting the Braselton location. We were on our way back to Atlanta coming from Maryland.

It was just okay. Wasn't crowded, seated immediately. Our server was maybe new? Not sure, but he seemed to forget I had a coffee cup. Had to snag him several times as he passed right by our table. Food took a very long time to arrive even though it wasn't busy when we arrived. When it did arrive I can honestly say I've had a better presentation of food, and taste of food, at Waffle House. Cracker Barrel has never disappointed before so I'm hoping they were just having an off morning.

The whole experience was awesome. I love coming in the store and looking and buying things even when I'm not eating. But this time I was there to eat I didn't buy anything from the store . It was a little busy when I came in on this day but I was seated right away . The Waitress was there just in time and was awesome Waitress she was friendly and did everything just right making it look easy. Not once did i have to look for her or try to wave her down for a refill. She just knew her job and knew it well. That alone made the experience great. I wish I had gotten her name I'm sorry that I didn't.The restaurant was clean everyone was nice and friendly.
