Been trying to eat here several times over the years but the wait time is always astronomical due to the intimate spacing. Today I asked and they said 20 minutes (I silently started cheering inside). The hostess and server were both very friendly and the decor was very fitting. I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner with red skin mashed potatoes and gravy, fried okra and a homemade biscuit. The wait time wasn't too long for a busy place. When my plate arrived I immediately delved into my biscuit and it was tasty! Then I started on my okra, phenomenal! The red skin mashed potatoes were everything you can hope for and more. The chicken fried steak was smothered in gravy and was absolutely delicious. You can't get that tastiness at home. After finishing my plate I denied blackberry cobbler (sobbing inside to keep my price down). After finishing our meal we visited there upstairs gift shop which had a lot of nice things with farmhouse restaurant mugs and shirts. Will definitely be back and willing to wait.

I'm a local, was excited to try Farmhouse Restaurant during the off season since it's always so busy otherwise.
We were seated in the back near the kitchen so we had to listen to two different sources of music which is quite distracting.
We arrived at 2:30 pm, well after the lunch rush and long before the dinner crowd. As a matter of fact, we were table #4. It took over 30 minutes to get our food.
My husband and I both ordered the deluxe farmburger w bacon. Be aware you don't get your burger cooked to order. We like med-rare, but were told their burgers only come well done. Not our first choice, but it was definitely tasty.
I ordered a side of okra, but got fries anyway. They brought me the correct side.
They do not offer local discount, but they do offer military.

This was absolutely AMAZING! Everything on the table was great! Most of the time when I go somewhere there’s a favorite thing I had on the table, but tonight, it was all great! Despite whatever you get for your meal, be sure to get the blackberry cobbler at the end! And be sure to go upstairs and look in the gift shop. Overall, this is one of the greatest meals I’ve ever had in Branson!

All I ordered was the 2 piece chicken with mashed potatoes and french fries. An hour later I had food poisoning. The staff were very friendly, just not too sure about the food? It was a surprise since they got great reviews.
And also be aware that their restroom is like going into a one person bathroom with little room inside. But the food and drink portions are generous. Just choose wisely.

Great food! You gotta try the, Chicken Fried Steak! The potatoes are awesome! I needed about 3 sides of those! The glasses are huge, & everything tasted great! The Cobbler looked amazing....but everyone was too full! A+

Enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner at the Farmhouse Restaurant. It was a full half chicken and juicy and tender. I had fried okra and green beans for my sides and both were very good. The biscuit was truly homemade! We loved that our drinks were served in Mason jars too. Our service was great! The restaurant is very inviting with a cute store upstairs!

The service was great fast and friendly food was excellent I would definitely recommend this place to everyone also not really a breakfast guy and this is one place that will serve lunch items early in the day went here around 7:30 8:00 in the morning as long as it can be fried grilled they're willing to make it for you thanks for a wonderful experience. I love the fact that they serve the drinks in mason jars.

We stayed in Branson for week and this was by far one of the best places we stopped for breakfast. The wait was lengthy but the service and food was worth it. This was top notch across the board! Staff is friendly and accomadating. We will be back on our next trip to Branson.
