Hungry Hunter Restaurant

what I enjoyed was the team effort given by the waitstaff. we waited about an hour because I wanted to and it was my choice to arrive during the most busy time of day. everyone was pleasant and they made it clear everyone must be present to be seated. it won't be something everyone enjoys maybe but our family of 6 our youngest being 4 months had fun. clean restaurant, good food, honest people work here, we left with a smile. the following day not a weekend day we were seated with a very minimal wait time. Kids enjoyed the train, they were able to play outside while we waited the first day.

This was our first time visiting The Hungry Hunter. We will definitely be back again! The entire staff was very friendly, the food tasted amazing and portion sizes are huge! Lori was our server today and she was probably one of the nicest waitresses we've had in a long time. It was a great experience!

The place was popping when we arrived. We had to wait 30 to 40 mins at around 10 am on a Saturday. They said it was going to be an hour but it went by quicker. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is a train that goes around the dining room ceiling that was a fun thing to see. The portions are large. Wife had the full French toast plate with sausages. The restaurant said they make their own bread. My wife thought it was the best French toast she ever had in a restaurant. I had the corned beef hash with upgraded hash browns. The hash browns were half the plate and very good. The corned beef hash tasted pretty standard. We were told to pay at the counter. We paid and left. A waiter came out to stop us from leaving because there was a problem with the bill. Turned out they charged us for the wrong table and owed $2. So I guess make sure they charge you for the correct bill at the counter.

The reviews don’t lie. I have NEVER experienced a diner like this. SO clean, SO friendly, and the food? Words can’t describe. Massive portions of food that taste better every bite. Bread made in house, biscuits made in house. The hash browns were the best I’ve ever had and don’t even get me started on the chicken fried steak. Even the coffee was delicious (and I had decaf!!!) if you have the chance to eat here, do yourself a favour a seize it!!! Absolutely phenomenal!

The reviews are so good for a reason! From the second my family walked in, we were greeted with a smile from every single person working! They sat us at the bar and everything was amazing. The service was the best! The food is delicious and gigantic portions for the price! We will most definitely be back! This was a great experience and customer service that great is hard to find these days!!!

We were tired of the expensive options at Big Cedar that we decided to try something local. And we are so glad we did! The Hungry Hunter was exactly what we wanted. A friendly place with good food and even better prices. The portions are HUGE and definitely shareable. Don't think twice, you won't regret it!

The wall said winner of the best Catfish but I didn't see a Catfish breakfast, so I asked the server and he accommodated my request. Glad he did cause it was perfect. If I say pictures speak a 1000 words then speak on.. Keep up the hospitality to all you Hungry Hunters my California hat goes off to you.. Bravo I give you a solid 10..
