Mcclain Resort

This was our 1st time ever coming to this resort. We really enjoyed ourselves. This is the home of "piescream" according to the manager. The food was really tasty and affordable. There was a little something for everyone. The resort grounds are very nice. The kids enjoyed the free petting zoo and feeding the animals carrots. We also took advantage of the half price Wednesday Safari ride special. We had a blast and I love the fact that each person's admission ticket comes with food for the animals. Our cousin holiday playdate was a hit. This resort is highly recommended.

It was our first visit. We had an awesome time. 16yo and 7 yo kids toured the free petting zoo and we drove our Honda Accord thru the $15 each safari. It was worth the car wash and vacuuming afterwards. We paid an extra $3 to feed the otters and an extra $3 to feed the animals in the petting zoo. We didn't see the otters, so they gave the minnows to the ducks. They ❤ed every minute. Oh and the food was delicious. I went back for seconds on the Mac and Cheese. I am a pescatarian and was pleased 😊 .

Safari drive was short but tons of friendly animals to feed and see. Petting zoo, pumpkin patch, pony rides. We ate at the buffet and it was delicious. Husband enjoyed the fudge and I had a Frappe. Very happy we made this stop. Our kids were ecstatic. If we ever go to the area again will def visit and try the tavern restaurant next. Also had tons of local produce, meats, honeys, jams etc.

We took the family for the drive thru safari and it was fun. I had more fun than I thought I would just being honest. It's really cool. It's a must see if you ask me because it's something different and you can stay in the comfort of your cool vehicle during the safari so it's a great activity for any day regardless of the temp. Feeding the animals is AWESOME!!!
