Sonny's Bbq

This Sonny’s is a great location. The staff is always nice. I wasn’t a fan of Sonny’s for a long time but I think they have upgraded their recipes lol. The chicken actually had flavor now. At this location first I tried the smoked turkey sandwich which I’m sorry I didn’t get you all a photo of but it was made perfectly. I suggest adding cole slaw to it. Which also I will say the coleslaw is very good. My second trip I tried the barbecue salad and added chicken. It was marvelous. My Togo sever JohnAlex was polite and made sure my order was properly fixed. Five starts for my experience thanks

Wonderful service! Smiles and good attitudes all round. My pulled chicken on Texas toast was fabulous. Great flavor. The onion rings were a little disappointing. Bland, over cooked, and bit pieces. Also, while not shown on the menu, o rings were $5 appetizer, nor equivalent to a side of fries. RestRoom Review: good pit stop. Clean, multiple stalls, full soap and towels. Overall, a good regular lunch place. 🤓😁

Visiting the area for training and out with some classmates we wanted barbecue. The front desk told us Sonny's was pretty good. The front desk doesn't know really good barbecue. It was decent but overpriced. No one was particularly thrilled with their dinner and I don't know I'd say it was mediocre. My ribs were tasty but dry and a bit chewy. Others got the sampler plate and were most happy with the chicken. They said they're pulled pork with mushy and the brisket needed sauce. Of course to me anytime brisket needs anything but just brisket it's a fail. We all thought that their beans and mac n cheese were pretty good. On the plus side the hostess and server were very polite and friendly. If you're in the mood for barbecue and you know what really good barbecue is supposed to be then personally I'd give this one a pass and find something else.

Short wait for our large group at the beginning of the dinner hour. Great selection to satisfy all appetites, even picky eaters. The BBQ egg rolls were the best! The hostess and servers worked well together to keep guests happy. Thanks especially to the hostess that was so helpful when my little one forgot her tablet as we were leaving.

I got the pulled pork with a baked potato 🥔 for my side with garlic butter toast. It had a great flavor! I was just wondering how they can keep charging so highly, but taking a side dish away from the choices....I guess the only good reason would be that the economy has hit the roof in everything, especially when it comes to eating! God Bless 🙌 Everyone and I was full and didn't waste anything. I'd give them a 5star if they had another waitress for the 12 ppl being served on our side.....

"Was it good?"I wouldn't know I walked out. A few years ago Sunny's redecorate in a fancy country kind of fashion they even put in a bar. In what was originally just a really good barbecue house. I'm pretty sure the barbecue still good. I'm totally not feeling the dacor. they also ended up taking out a of tables. Which ended up leaving me and my husband with my bum knee standing wait for more than 30 minutes. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you the barbecue is good but it is not a 30 minute wait good. Thank you for commercializing your company because of it I'm One Less customer you'll have. Two other families walked out the same time i did.

Overall not to bad of a experience, my wife ate at the original Sonny's in FL many years ago and it was amazing. This visit the food was not as good but overall we still enjoyed it ourselves. However the server was a bit slow getting us refills and kind of disappeared after bringing us the bill we had to ask another server for a to go container.

I give this 2 stars because the food is good. However, the building is managed very poorly. We arrived at 11:55 am and was told it would be 45 minutes before our table for 10 was ready. I asked if it would be better to sit us at separate tables and the hostess said no. After that several parties of 4 and 5 were seated. After 50 minutes passed, I asked for an update, I was told it would be an additional 45 minutes at least. We left and went to eat somewhere else. I didn’t take my name off the list just to see how long it would be. I checked in at 12:04 and received a text that my table was ready at 1:41. The worse part is seeing 5 or 6 empty booths throughout the wait, even though I said they could separate us.
