Tibby's New Orleans Kitchen

First time there, and to be honest, wasn't expecting to be amazed. Delightfully mistaken! The food was outstanding in every way, rivaled only by the excellent service provided by Josh. Also, while I can't remember the name, they have an IPA that you should definitely try if you're a fan. We're happy to call Tibby's our new favorite in Brandon. Here again. Same result. Absolutely satisfied, and impressed. Elaina this time, and she of course, exceeded every standard. I cannot stress enough, what a treat this place is. I worked at a restaurant like this one before. I didn't receive the attention and accolades that it warranted. Eventually it did. Won people's choice, as well as other recognitions. To wrap up, this place is outstanding. You guys are doing it right.

Service is terrible. Food is amazing. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We arrived to put in our name and they told us a 20 minute wait. 30 minutes later when we check on our status, we were told they lost our name. Even tho the Mgr knew we had been there waiting, he didn’t bother to move us up to the top of the list regardless that we were there before those left on the list. We finally get a table 40mins later only to sit at the table for 15 minutes with no server. They were not short staffed. We finally get our waitress and order immediately. While waiting 20 minutes more, the waitress nor manager bothered to check on us. Our food gets delivered.but unfortunately, we never got silverware to eat with. Had to wait another 10 minutes for silverware. Manager wouldn’t even look in our direction! Terrible customer service! Even tho the food is always amazing, we will never eat there again! Wish I’d gotten the managers name, because I’d put him on blast here...

Colorful and Quirky, Tibby's is a must-stop New Orleans style cooking, hidden gem in Brandon. We stopped in for dinner with friends, post-Covid. The staff and patrons were all very courteous and observed safety and social distancing. Once seated, we were able to take in the colorful surroundings and cheerful atmosphere. Tibby's serves up a variety of mouth-watering, memorable Cajun specialties. Try the fried green tomatoes & crayfish for starters and don't forget to order cheese grits as a side to your favorite meal! When you are ready to venture out of the house again, I highly recommend Tibby's for an excellent Cajun meal that does not disappoint!
