Mongolian Bbq

It may be because we are from out of town, it may be because we are just used to our local Mongolian, or it may be because this restaurant was unfortunately lacking. Our son loves Mongolian BBQ, so naturally, on vacation, we had to locate and have some for dinner. The staff was kind, and courteous. However, the options were lacking in regards to vegetables. Half the sauces were empty at the end of the line, and I was unable to get good a good flavor profile for my son or my dish. The gentlemen cooking on the grill seemed nonchalant and careless with the food as they went around the grill. My son, looked at me and said ‘mom! They’re losing all my vegetables!’ That was the hardest moment for me as a mom. Unfortunately, we had a less than excellent experience here. The food was bland, the egg drop soup wasn’t what I was under the impression it would be. It, of course, could have just been an off night for them. Perhaps the end of the evening, we will never know.

This is a great Mongolian BBQ. They offer an extensive selection of vegetables and sauces. The noodles are thick and homemade. The food was extremely flavorful. The portion size is huge. They also clean the grill after every use. They are also considerate and offer to add more sauce. I love the lemon ginger oil sauce. It is so good. When I lived in Bozeman, I would eat here all of the time. Now that I live far away, when I stopped in the area to visit recently, my experience has been amazing yet again. The next time I’m here I’ll stop by.

Been coming here for years and I haven’t been in awhile and I was so dissatisfied! The guy going around the grill poured so much water into my meal; what was the point of getting to choose my own flavors just to have soggy watery noodles… You have a sign that states anything over 2 inches of food over your bowl will be put into a separate bowl and charged twice. Obviously you can’t read a tape measurer because it was just over flush with the top of the bowl and less than one large bowl when cooked. It’s apparent why we were the only ones in the place on a Saturday night now, when it used to be packed daily, a few years ago…

Awesome pho at one of Bozeman’s oldest and greatest sleeper hits. I was under the impression that the only pho around this area was in Belgrade but I was wrong!! $13 or $14 for this massive take out order of pho. Super generous topping and meat. I got it to go and the broth was super hot and they packaged everything really nicely. Had to get a giant mixing bowl out because the portion was so big. I love you Mongolian BBQ! New Sunday night Pho spot. (Sriracha not included in to go order but you can probably ask)
