Old Chicago

Came here on my quest for the best fried pickles in Bozeman. These could have been good except they were covered in uncooked batter spots which can clearly be seen in the photo’s. All the lighter spots on the pickles are mushy uncooked batter. Also the burger was dry and flavorless and the margarita was a travesty.

I placed an order online the wait said 2 hours…no problem. Get there they forgot to make my pizza.So I had to wait another 20 minutes. They pack my food I leave and in the car I notice they forgot to pack my salad. I go back to get the salad and finally get home, grabbed a slice of pizza took a bite and immediately realized the jalapeño and pineapple pizza I ordered is jalapeño and pepperoni…. I’m a vegetarian! I spent all that money for food I can’t eat. Do not recommend!

I ordered a medium well burger. It came out rare. Asked the waitress to have it redone. What came out was medium to medium rare. The manager comped our meal but argued with me that it was medium well. Two stars are giving the waitress and manager the benefit of the doubt. The kitchen is horrible. Obviously frozen patties that the line cook doesn't know how to cook.

Old Chicago has a wonderful American Cuisine styled menu, short wait times, fair prices for average folks and an amazing staff!! I personally favor the regular Pizza Rolls appetizer, however for you Buff and blue cheese fans, they do offer buffalo style. If you're a belly up and have a cold one kind, the beer selection is HUGE!!! Overall, I give them 5 stars. I can take my family here, have a ladies night or casual date. There is plenty of space and if anything goes wrong the manager TC is more than happy to make things right for you.

On our trip to Yellowstone we stayed close to this place. So we tried it. But the entire experience was just okay. The waitress looked like she was struggling. I asked about the beer she couldn't really give an opinion. It was limited conversation. She was always like I'll be back. Being a person that has been in the service industry. I think a little bit of conversation goes along way. Would not recommend The pizza was tasty and it was the deep dish we had meat me.

Ordered a Caesar salad and a bacon cheeseburger. I ordered the burger after I ordered the salad. Server acted like he didn’t want to waste his time with me. Got my salad no burger, just a check with a side Caesar salad. Went up to the counter to ask about my burger and he said I did not order one. Manager offered to make me one to go but I was too tired to wait.I was starving haven’t ate all day but just too tired to deal with it. Manager did comp the salad.The last five or six times I have come to Old Chicago have been horrible, which is heartbreaking because I used to go a lot and it was amazing. I don’t think I’ll ever go back and spend my money there. I don’t like being treated as an inconvenience just because I’m eating by myself. I always make up for that fact by tipping 80% of the check or more. So I guess someone else will get that money…
