My Saturday morning breakfast ritual is to stop at The Cakery and get some croissants, biscuits and macaroons. They’re always delicious!
If u see the coconut cookie. Get it. There is nothing else in any other store that comes close. The chocolate chip was excellent and I love the giant size. Cheesecake was good. The strawberry in top still had just the right amount of texture and it was appropriately served cold but no signs of frost. I loved it. It's safe to return. Used to be a student of bowie state nearby. It was a horrible place 5 years ago or so. But I read comments on new management and confirmed the ladies here know what they doing. Items are huge in person. Camera doesn't do it justice.
I really like that the new owners have made walking in a more visual experience. I think they have more out to see. I don't know if they added more but it looks like it. So far no complaints, and I like the expanded hours.
Cakes & Crepes! Bowie Cakery at the HillTop Plaza Shopping Center has got it going on. Coconut macaroons and double chocolate chip cookies are amazing. Just recently in November this year Chris and Freddy started serving crepes as well both real lunch crepes like turkey, eggs, spinach, tomatoes, pretty much everything you could ask for in a hearty lunch meal and then get your sweet cravings fix two steps away. Very fresh ingredients, all made from scratch, no doubt a great concept. If your looking for a sweet treat and full lunch for the whole office go see Chris and Freddy at the Cakery. They will take care of you.
Nothing but compliments from all who attended a birthday celebration, serving this fabulous cake for our guests! Kudos to the folks at The Cakery in Bowie. It was delicious and beautiful! Even the cupcakes were yummy!
