We received a 5 star worthy experience. The Shrimp and Grits are award winning for a reason!! Hot and fresh...not overcooked. Our waitress Danesha has a pleasant and welcoming demeanor. She was very attentive. If she's your server, you will not be disappointed. When Chef Mike brought our food out, he suggested we try the Sweet Potato Waffles. They were really good and surprisingly, the caramel sauce wasn't too sweet!! The Honey Hot wings are 🔥. We ordered 6 more to take home.

It's a great place to eat if you have ZERO dietary restrictions because although the menu is delicious, it is very restrictive. For example, I couldn't order grits without cheese or milk/dairy in them. I couldn't order egg whites only. If you are vegan, forget it! The mimosas were delicious and they have several flavors so it was nice to have options. But the staff was very nice, the ambiance is lovely vibes and the location is great with lots of free parking and it is easy to find. I can't give more stars though because it's 2022 and if you don't have something for different diets, to me, that is pretty exclusive. But hey! Maybe that's the goal. Who knows?! I won't be back unless the menu changed because it was just too hard for me to eat there and I'm pretty sure my meal was $1,000 when it was all said and done. I'm exaggerating, but you get the point. But that makes me sad because I would have really liked to eat there regularly.

I was greeted upon entering. Service seemed slow so I went with take out. I had the rumchatta french toast for brunch and it was delicious. A bit soggy in some spots but great flavor. The shrimp and grits are for dinner. I took a small spoonful and know I'm going to be in a creamy heaven upon smashing these. I also had the hot honey wings and they were the reason for the missing star.

We came on a Sunday between 11am and 1pm, so we expected a wait. We waited about 1.5hrs before being seated and about another 45mins before getting food. If you have small kids I recommend bringing snacks for them to eat while waiting and a light jacket (dining room is cold). The Scrambled eggs isn't your typical eggs, learned that upon receiving them, they're vegan or some sort of plant based from what our waiter told us. All utensils are plastic wrapped. The crab hash was very good. My southern family wasn't too fond of the grits, buts it's all a preference. Chicken and waffles was ok too. It's not a bad spot, but not a place I would hurry back to again.

Alex, Nick and the Entire Milk and Honey Team at the Bowie, MD location are "Rock Stars!" We had an Amazing experience from the time we walked in the Door! The Customer Service is First Class! Now let's talk about the Food; we Ordered Chef Sammy's Shrimp and Grits and the Deep Fried Salmon Hash!! The portions and FLAVOR of these dishes are mouth-watering!! We were nicely full and satisfied afterwards and had enough left-overs for the next day?! Needless to say after the strong urging of my family and friends this restaurant far Exceeded my Expectations!! I'll be returning again Very Soon!! YOU MUST VISIT THIS LOCATION!!
