This is my family's favorite restaurant and we always come here when visiting my parents. The view is perfection and such a lovely fine dining experience every time. The staff are all such professionals and everything on the menu is fresh and delicious. If you want a special night out with family or an upscale date night, this is absolutely the place! Make a reservation for sunset.

Worth every penny. Had a nice send-off for our buddy leaving for overseas here. I appreciate that they’re not too concerned with attire. We certainly weren’t the worst dressed party (saw a guy in a South Park t-shirt last time I was there 😂). I also appreciate the NO children (under 14?) policy. Great menu choices, excellent view, extensive wine selection, fabulous service, nice atmosphere. It’s expensive for a reason. Go find out why…

Until 1931, Chuckanut Drive was part of the Pacific Highway used by people driving from California to Vancouver. There is a much faster road today but it doesn't offer glorious views like the old route. Nor does it have a fine restaurant overlooking Samish Bay oyster beds. Of course the molluscs are a menu feature but there is plenty more offered. Our starter was a delicious combination of seasonal greens with walnuts, blue cheese, red onions, apples, and grapes with a maple cider vinaigrette. I had the seafood stew, which was fine except I found the pistou sauce slightly overpowered subtle tastes of the broth and the proteins. She had the sable fish special and found it attractive and well prepared, but a little too busy with numerous additions. Sometimes less is more when serving high quality seafood. This is not fast food, nor is it inexpensive, but the total experience is worthwhile.

Fancy, fancy place, folks...white tablecloths and more than one fork!! Most items are local and the bread is from "Bread Farm" down in Edison.! Even told ya what location of the Pacific coast the shellfish came from... And entirely worth it ! Great View too ! Parking is an absolute horror, especially backing out to get on the road...

Went here for our anniversary dinner with friends and Had a Blast!! Amazing views, and the service from start to finish was awesome. Very helpful with pairings etc. And the food, well they say a picture is worth a thousand words so here you go. Crab cakes. Salmon with added gulf coast prawns. Pheasant. Fresh as well as baked oysters. So Delish! We can't wait to go back!

Amazing views from this cozy, but elegant historical establishment. Great service, smaller, focused menu lends to high quality and consistency. The oyster selection couldn't be more fresh, and the Smoked Halibut Chowder is not to be missed!

Great little place with great view of the Salish sea. Very good service. Food was above average. A bit pricey.

First time coming here, took my parents here to celebrate our birthdays. Their wine list is quite extensive and very nice. The view is incredible, we had the pear / parsnip and the Alaskan chowder soups which were incredible! They gave us a very nice sorbet to cleanse the pallet. We ordered the venison, halibut specials and the fresh salmon. The venison and salmon were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! The Halibut flavor was great, however, it was definitely dry and over cooked. They kindly waived it off the bill and our server was very friendly. Definitely coming back here for an anniversary or birthday dinner again 😊
