Absinthe House

I've been to absinthe 20+ times. Always have a total blast, see friends we know and dance, dance dance! That said, I've never used a more disgusting bathroom. The women's bathroom is literally what I think of, when the group starts talking about going to absinthe. It smells horible and the plumbing always gets backed up - especially on Thur night when ladies drink free. I've never had a bad night on the roof top bar, and bar tenders have always been great - the drinks are cheap! Where else in Boulder can you find $2 Wells on a Friday night?! Give me a break, this place is far from expensive. The dance floors are great.

Great place for electronic music and dancing. There is soo much untapped potential in the space! Clean up the bathrooms and get some professional decorations and lighting. The 2nd floor would be perfect for VIP. You have the only space in Boulder that could be an actual club/concert venue. Make it happen!

Come on you 1 star spoiled college kids, this place is awesome, they serve absinthe ! Not only do they have a number of different absinthes, they have all of the necessary accessories you need to properly drink it, including the water louche fountain and will show you how to use it or do it for you. I think the view from the top bar is the best in Boulder. Friendly patrons and staff loosened by the green drink. I'm coming back with another date soon.

Had the worst experience now twice in a row with the bouncer on the roof. I was there for my birthday, and went to use the ladies' room. I came back up the stairs, and he yelled that I wasn't allowed because they were at capacity. I explained that my wallet, phone, and keys were sitting on a table. I asked if I could get them; he laughed in my face and said no. I asked him if he could walk me over to get them; he rolled his eyes and refused to answer. By chance a friend happened to be walking out and offered to grab my stuff - but absolutely terrible service. Was there a week later and saw him treat people the same way. Will never go back.
