Buddha Cafe

I got the SUPER COMBO APPETIZER Combination of Chicken Satay (3), Spring Rolls (3), Crispy Parcels (6) and Buddha Golden Bags (4).they we're all great and sauces we're good. I also had the MASSAMON Curry. Coconut milk, massamon curry paste, onions, potatoes and carrots. With the brown rice. My only complaint was that the potatoes and carrots we're in huge chunks! Cut them down to bite size! See picture.

I was hopeful, since my friend suggested this place. The place is clean, and the food was good, especially the papaya salad. I asked for Thai hot curry, and my dish wasn't even medium. So, if you're looking for heat, this either isn't your place, or you need to make really sure they understand what you want. Other than that, it's good enough.

What happened? I've been coming here for years because of how much I loved this place, tonight for whatever reason it just wasn't good. Especially the spring rolls, I don't know what they changed or did to them but they were half the size they used to be and filled with this awful gross mush. The other two dishes were fine, but still not as good as they used to be. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt because I know this place can be good and every place is going to have bad nights. Hope this isn't the new normal for Buddha. Update: My partner's dish make him really sick. I don't know when we're going to try Buddha again, but tonight it was very extremely off. Lost my favorite go to place.
