Amazing!! Love the food, drinks and more importantly, the people that run Cafe Blue are Top Notch!! Highly recommend going here!
My absolute favorite place in the world to eat! The freshest salads and meats and top-notch service.
Wonderfully warm atmosphere with owners actively involved in creating a great place for a special occasion or for warm bowl of soup on a stormy night. Great service. And the food is even better. Creative dishes with special attention to pairing, seasoning, and presentation. I cannot recommend Cafe Blue any more enthusiastically. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
Great for a Gunbarrel based restaurant. Very cozy atmosphere. Would highly suggest calling for a reservation. Place is small and good chance there won’t be room. Gnocchi is amazing, also probably the best burger in Gunbarrel.
Hidden gem. My new go-to place. Tiny bar... All locals... Friendly staff and owners... Heavy pours... FANTASTIC FOOD. I almost want to delete this review so that no one knows about this place.
I was hyper impressed with this restaurant! Yeah, it's in a strip mall, and yeah, I was not expecting anything spectacular. We showed up for happy hour, 8 to Burgers Fries & Wings for less than $40 including the tip. And what's amazing, is that everything was awesome. The drinks were wonderful, and the service was good. It may not look like much from the outside, the trust me, this place is the real deal. Get in for happy hour if you can! And if you miss it, go anyways.
Been here twice. This is one of the nicer results in the gun barrel area (not that many options though). On both occasions we were attended to by a very polite server with an New York (I think) accent. I’m not a picky eater but the customer service was spot on.
I just went to Cafe Blue for the first time yesterday with a gal pal who'd already been, and wow, what a lovely little gem of a place. I'd never noticed it before in that particular plaza, and am so glad to have discovered it! The ambience is fantastic: very warm, cozy, and inviting and some really nice blues playing in the background on this particular afternoon. We went for lunch, and, while all I had was a bowl of french onion soup, it was really delicious and perfect on a chilly day. My friend shared her order of garlic bread, which was sizeable, and that was really delicious too.
Our server was terrific and had her hands full, being the only one on the floor and at the bar, but she clearly was experienced and didn't seem at all fazed. The fact that it got busy on such an inclement day after the usual lunch hour was proof to me that this was a well-frequented eatery for good reason.
This is also a perfect spot for a romantic meal, and I will definitely be back with my sweetie!
