Hands down one of the top dining experiences I’ve had. The amuse-bouches were diverse in taste, texture, and presentation- but all delicious. The staff was attentive, but not overbearing. The meal was a dining experience- a well timed dance by the staff. Everyone was friendly and genuine. The food was divine - both in taste and presentation. Of course, the drive to and the views from were spectacular. I will definitely consider returning for another special occasion meal.
The service was top notch. The food was spectacular. The views beautiful. What a great meal. Thank you all that made our anniversary something extra special. The chef signing our menus and personalizing them made it over the top cool.
Flagstaff House is what I have in mind when I want a special occasion meal of fine wine and food. They are a Wine Spectator Grand Award winner so the wine choices are dizzying and amazing at all price levels. The food is simply fantastic and the service is top notch. Finally, the atmosphere is pleasant and the mountainside views are just incredible. I cannot imagine a better experience. Yes, it IS expensive. If you can afford it, enjoy!
Exquisite!. This has been one of my favorite dining experiences. Up-scale atmosphere, wonderful service, great view. The wine menu is on an iPad. The sheer presentation of the meals were impressive. I took my parents here, and they compared the dishes to meals they had in Paris. Make a trip to Boulder just to go to this restaurant!
An emotionally enlightening dining experience. From the white truffle pasta to the New York Strip finished by the Salted Caramel Ice Cream, this was a culinary journey I did not want to end. Flagstaff House is a standard by which all fine eateries can be judged.

Awesome!!. This was a wonderful experience. My wife had been here in the past, but this was my first time here. The drive coming up the mountain is amazing. The city lights appear striking form here. The restaurant staff was very friendly. We came here on vacation, and were also celebrating our anniversary. Waiter was very thoughtful. They had complimentary hors d'oeuvres coming all night. Food itself was elegant and service extraordinary. At the end they topped off with this anniversary candy plaque which was edible...(of course I didn't eat it). Man my wife was so happy we came here.

In the evening, we can see the twinkling lights of the Flagstaff House from our back deck - especially in winter when the leaves are off the trees. We know that wonderful food is being served there. We have dined at the Flagstaff House with friends and family, and I have also been there for private events as well. Every experience has combined fine food, impeccable service and splendid with incomparable view. On Sunday, October 16 , this landmark restaurant celebrates its 40th anniversary with a culinary gala. The Flagstaff House celebrates its 40th this weekend, but in truth, every evening at the Flagstaff House is a special occasion. My wife and I had dinner here last night. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they made the evening very memorable and enjoyable.

Every single dish we had was beyond delicious. It’s been one of my best dining experiences ever. It was a pleasure trying these original dishes prepared by the chef.
I highly recommend this place. It’s worth every dollar.
Hard to describe how good this place is with just words. The service is top notch. The quality of the food is top notch. The views are top notch. Everything about it is top notch. Very fancy restaurant with a huge wine menu to choose from. Great for celebrating life’s milestones. Very unique experience.
Absolutely lovely experience! My boyfriend and I are from out of state and we wanted a luxurious, gourmet experience. They accommodated our diet restrictions and our waitress was very detailed in explaining each course. Everything was a treat to experience and they have the best bread we have ever tasted. Not an exaggeration! After the meal, our waitress was kind enough to snap a few pics of us on the outside patio with the incredible city lights. It was so beautiful and romantic. We will definitely be back again. We recommend it very highly!
Everything from the valet to dessert was perfect at Flagstaff.
The valet is complimentary and is extremely seamless, like our car was already pulled up by the time we walked outside after paying the check.
The dining staff were extremely attentive and helpful with recommendations, and everything was quick and efficient.
We did cocktails and the 4 course dinner option and I couldn't have been happier with my choices. The food was all perfectly made and the portions were a good size if not on the big side for there being so many courses.
And obviously the view is gorgeous overlooking Boulder.
Can't wait to go back!
Great meal and great 10 year anniversary. We order the four course menu and a nice bottle of wine. The views are breathtaking. The food is all amazing you will leave stuffed.
My only complaint on food was the lobster. You pay am extra 33 dollars for this course and you get a quarter of a lobster tail. This course for me had 0 seasoning. The lobster was a bit overcooked and the potatoes had no seasoning.
Everything else was amazing. From the soup to the steaks l.
The pastry chef is amazing. All of the deserts were awesome and there was plenty of them!
Go for the food and stay for the views! Great meal over all.
Flagstaff House truly does have the BEST views in the area if you are looking for that “wow” sunset and views! The ambiance was elegant and the waitstaff exceptionally attentive, plus the menu had a variety of choices which appealed to everyone. I loved the outdoor patio and spaces which you could reserve for your meal!
Love this romantic place. Foods was awesome but staff kinda slow. We ended up spent almost 3.5 hours to finish all the testing menu
Wow it has the most amazing view but then the food creates this adventure of taste that’s so damn good!! We enjoyed our dinner out and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to push there taste buds and enjoy life!!
