Just loved this spot. Went to Boulder for the day, up from Denver, and truly appreciated a place dedicated to tea. Our waitress was well versed in tea knowledge and made it so easy to decide. Well, it was still hard because I wanted to try so many and I'm only visiting the area for the holidays. I will be back my next visit for sure! Great brunch menu as well and gluten free options.

Our second annual outing to the Dushanbe was absolutely perfect. This is by far one of my favorite holiday traditions. We have afternoon tea for four and we have the best time. They fully accommodated my dairy free needs and each bite was delicious. I'm so grateful for how much attention to detail they put in to every single thing they do. So much excellence. O and we sat at the special table this time and that really elevated our entire experience.

This place is so beautiful. It also has great tea, drinks, food, and cocktails without breaking the bank. The aesthetics make this place incredible but even without the mosaics and colorful decor and airy main room this place would still be a great restaurant and tea house. The service is also excellent - our waitress did a great job dealing with separate tickets and a need for a quick turnaround without fuss. She was so kind and quick! Definitely a highly recommended spot for anyone in the Boulder area.

The food was pretty good, but I wasn’t very impressed. I didn’t expect the spicy peanut noodles to be vermicelli - and I would have preferred thicker noodles. The Malaysian curry was the best dish. The hibiscus cooler was quite good, very refreshing. The samosas were not very flavorful and the char siu bao were way too sweet. The hummus plate was okay—the hummus itself was quite nutty which I enjoyed. The golden milk was VERY turmeric-y so if you don’t love turmeric then I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. The service was good and very fast and I liked the ambience and high ceiling and story behind the location.

Love the aesthetic and vibe this place has. This is the 2nd time I've been and both times were great. This time we spent about 45 minutes waiting for a table and during that time we walked over to pearl street to check out the stores. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and I'm not sure what the name of my dish was but it had chickpea balls and a tomato sauce. Both were so flavorful and satisfying. We also had some of their chai and its a little on the spicy side but I still really liked it. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and capacity questions I had. Would definitely go back another time to try their other dishes. And to be a part of their tea time.

First off, the building is stunning. It's like you're in a temple of sorts. Very calming and pleasant. The walls are lines with what I think is painted wood and exquisite details. The volume of tea options is staggering yet what you'd expect from a proper "teahouse". My highest of ratings goes to their house chai, best I've ever had and I've had more than I can count. You can also buy the concentrate online. The food is really good. But the lack of the fifth star is from just missing on a few aspects of their food. The beef in one entree was over cooked so it was dry and lacked flavor that was present in every aspect of the meal. I would definitely come back any time I'm in Boulder. We came for dinner one night and brunch a few days later. My thoughts extend to both meals. Their tea based cocktails are refreshing and fun and highly recommend as well.

Highest praise goes to the Dushanbe tea house. Not only is the restaurant absolutely gorgeous, it is filled with knowledgeable and professional staff. The food is exceptional. The standouts for us was the cauliflower, japanese fried chicken, and pretty much any entree.

Definitely worth the visit while you’re in Boulder, the place is a masterpiece! the tea and cakes were delicious. I wish they offered vegan options for the sandwiches and allow us to modify the cakes pieces.
