The Quiet Few is the perfect bar, and it's not just due to the fresh beer and the friendly, lively service — but due to the food. I have never been to an establishment that has perfected the burger and chicken sandwich until now. The Nashville Hot chicken sandwich is perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of crisp and heat. However, the star of the show is the burger - specifically the Hell Yeah burger. The meat melts in your mouth and bursts with flavor. It pairs well with the waffle fries + spicy mayo. Come try the food before you hear about it elsewhere!

I’ve lived around the corner for over a year and visit all the time. Great local spot. The food is beyond what you would expect for bar food. Unbelievably. Reasonably priced drinks and the staff is super friendly. It attracts a great crowd too, not the type where you’d expect fights to break out and what not. If you stay past 9pm on a weeknight, it gets pretty jammed up. My only complaint is how loud the music tends to be, regardless of how many people are in the bar. Not a place I’d bring someone on a first date, because I can’t hear anything going on. Definitely worth checking out!

Came here while I had an extended layover in the Boston airport and grabbed some lunch and some drinks. The food was great and the service was exquisite! I left my hat at the bar and didn’t realize until I got back to the airport. They mailed it all the way back to Philadelphia for me!! Great place run by great people, highly recommend!!

Go for: That feeling of discovering a hidden gem. Avoid if: You don't like waiting for a place to sit, or are looking for a huge list of beers on tap. Something surprising: Their whisky/whiskey list is among the largest in the Boston area, and they make some great cocktails. Reservation needed? No, it's first come, first serve - and it's a busy place. Be prepared to dine at the bar. Overall Experience: 4/5. The food is phenomenal and the place will make you feel right at home. Despite the spirits list focus, it wouldn't hurt to carry 2-3 additional draught beers...but the rest of the experience more than makes up for it. Value for Price: 3 Sanitation: 5 Food Quality: 5 Menu Precision: 4 Service Quality: 4 Timing: 4 Decor: 4 Access: 3 — 5 among the best 4 strong 3 not too bad 2 mediocre 1 never again

If you are in Boston this is a MUST! We travel frequently and like to find a good burger place and this is easily 1 of the top places I have ever been. Didn’t care for the music (wouldn’t recommend bringing kiddos) but I would absolutely go again for the food! I got the smash burger with fries and my husband got a burger with special sauce and both were incredible!

We had a small group (well 10 people, so not that small I guess) hung out there on a Friday night and overall it was good experience. They were accommodating, and service was fast. It gets packed pretty quickly on the weekends so be ready to wait a bit for a table. I preferred outdoor seating area vs inside as it can get kinda packed. I will definitely come back for drinks in the future.

I wished I lived closer to this place, I'd be here way more often. My husband and I drive over occasionally from Malden just to get a burger and a fiddlehead on draft. Their poutine fries are also amazing.

The Quiet Few is an awesome local bar. They’ve got an impressive selection of whiskey, they make a stiff drink, and their food sets the bar very high for bar food! Monday night trivia is the highlight of my week.

This bar is the best place to hang out. I especially enjoy the absolutely divine Mac and cheese. The burgers are also really good. It’s a great place to hang out on occasion or as a weekly tradition.

Outstanding menu items which are typically rotating - kind of like elevated pub fare made with awesome ingredients. Whiskey selection is great. Picklebacks are a decent deal and you can change your whiskey choice for a small upcharge. Superior quality of service, especially if you're sitting at the bar - all the bartenders will pamper you like a king - no matter who you are. Great sports watching a trivia too! Only negatives are the draft/beer prices are kind of a bit for what you're getting ($6 Narragansett - i would recommend going back to nite lite or a better quality light beer - or not $6 for a low-brow light lager). And draft selection is fairly limited and stagnant for a place that sells a lot of beer.
