I've ordered from here mostly via Uber Eats since I live in the neighborhood. Today I decided to do pickup thinking their Special Menu had gone down in price since it showed as $6 in GrubHub and Uber Eats. I get there and find out their Special Menu is still $7 which is dishonest.
Originally launched in 2019, their Special Menu was made up of their popular entrees for $5. The price has since gone up to $7 which is only a few bucks short of the full price versions. I get the pandemic happened but having different price points for the apps and in-store is actually pretty dishonest.
That aside, this establishment already pissed me off two years ago when I made an order through Uber Eats. I ordered two of the same item from the Special Menu. What I got instead was a regular size version of the item. My order at the time was intended for two different people and they did that. I felt disrespected as did the other person I made the order for.
I won't order from them ever again. If you do order from them, call in advance. From what I've heard from delivery drivers, they often change the entree prices without warning or notice.
The food is decent but the service really, really sucks. The few times I went in person, there was no sense of order or communication among the staff. I'm pretty observant and I saw a few people almost charged twice because both people behind the counter did not talk to each other.
The Akra is the reason for the 4 stars. They are super crunchy, super flavorful, a little spicy. The rice is ok but a little dry. The fried Turkey is decent also. They cut it up small, but you get enough on your plate.
I called my order in and arrived less than five minutes , I was greeted with okay service , but the speed and structure they have is awesome never seen it at any other Hatian cuisine .
The food I give a 3.5-4 stars it can use more heat to it , I had fried turkey rice and beans and piklse I like heat but I’m from Miami so this is by far the closet of the best Hatian I have had since being in Boston ! Oh and the limeade is bomb ! Freshly squeeze with some essence !
They kinda uncharged me I wanted plantain and picklez they gave me a side when it was already on my plate but it’s okay now I know . Plantain are cooked through and fried well with slight salt . This was way bette than Lala’s Hatian cuisine
Great Food. Always consistent. I like the koden w Jon Jon. 6 dollar plates. Very nice portions. 👌🏾
Some of the best Haitian food I've had in the Boston area. Legume, rice, fried turkey, plantains, sos pwa and pikliz were on point 😋
Delicious food every time. OK customer service but that doesn’t take away from the meal experience
Good Haitian food the Grilled Pork was the Best I've had in Years was pleasantly surprised

SO GO AHEAD, DON'T TAKE MY WORD. JUST GO FOR IT. YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID .
Pretty good and authentic haitain cuisine, you wont ever be let down if you get the white rice, legumes (concoction of veggie stew typically great with rice)... i tasted eggplant, carrots, watercress, spinach and more) and fried pork (griot) 🤣. Their smoothies are delicious especially the papaya, lemonade has a vanilla taste to it which is very unique. Here's brown rice, fried chicken (haitain restaurants tend to fry up whole drumsticks as fried chicken) and legumes.
They give you a lot of food for what you pay for.
