Lucky Boston Chinese Restaurant

A very convenient Chinese restaurant in Jamaica Plain area. It is a carry out restaurant. There was a variety of selections available, ranging from fried rice, lo mien, sautéed veggies, chicken, shrimp, etc. It was about $10 each. The portion was large enough to cover 2 regular meals for adults. The food quality was OK. Especially, when comparing with the price, it was a good deal for sure.

I am not really the "Reviewer Type" as I conduct a review occasionally. However I have been residing by this restaurant and I really really love Mandarin Style food so I tend to try many locations in MA and out of state and even of of the country as I travel. What i am getting to is this place is Special. It really is one of the best food Chinese restaurants around. They prep and cook in front on an open kitchen concept . They also cook a bit more refined and I this is truly the only place I eat boneless spareribs because they use the lean cut meat unlike 99.9 percent of other restaurants. They also have really great tasting chicken fingers and fairly decent rice especially the vegetables fried rice. I have many Pros for this place including the kind family that owns it for decades. The only Con I have is that they do not offer Delivery although I have pressed the concept to them and benefits of delivery even through a third party. Now I am off to grab me a plate. Cheers.
