Disclaimer: be prepared for slow service. The lady in charge was so nice! The vegetarian combo was great and she picked the veggies for me. The collard greens were especially good. The ethiopian coffee was delicious too with milk and sugar, but I'm not usually a coffee person. Lots of local patrons and the lady spoke with all of them, very homey atmosphere.

I got the combo for two, and it was delicious. The gomen was especially so good. Also the perfect amount of food for two people.

We ordered the veggie combo platter and the tofu tibs, and left in a food coma! I highly recommend the tofu tibs - it’s delicious, packed with flavor and I’ve never experienced a vegan Ethiopian dish like this before. The service is amazing and the owner and staff are very warm and friendly. Fasika café is definitely worth a visit.

I ordered a Cappuccino to go from here, if your a fan of local and on-site roasted coffee I would highly recommend! The espresso has a bold flavor with subtle hints of cinnamon, absolutely loving my drink!

This was my first Ethiopian restaurant so I wasn’t sure what to expect but this place blew me away. The group that I went with had a variety of dishes that all looked and smelled delicious but most got the combo for one. It consisted of injera bread with a bunch of side dishes on top. The flavors were amazing and the portion was well worth the price. Eating with your hands makes the meal more enjoyable and unique. The place is a little cramped inside but has an outdoor seating for those that prefer that!

The food is delicious and healthy, with each order prepared fresh. The service is fantastic. They are friendly and attentive. Great location right in Nubian Square, accessible by T and with parking nearby. This is my go to spot when I'm on my healthy eating kick, or just looking for something warm and hardy but not too heavy. Great vegetarian options that will satisfy even a meat eater like myself.

Went here for brunch with my favorite roommate 😎 the food was delicious and the chef was very welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and homey, and the cafe is right around the corner from the bus station. Highly recommended to stop by!

Fasika has the most authentic Ethiopian dishes. Food tastes great and it’s made the way it’s made in ethiopia. My girl friend who isn’t wthiopia loved it as well.

My first time trying Ethiopian food and the experience was great! I got the tilapia with greens and lentils. You will wait a bit, but everything comes out hot, fresh, and super flavorful. The portion was huge and the prices were not at all what I would have expected to pay once I day how much food I got. Everything tasted wonderful and I can't choose just one item off of my plate, they all complimented each other so well. The greens might have been the best I've tried outside of my grandma's kitchen lol. Such a wonderful introduction to Ethiopian cuisine ( the service was AWESOME too)
