Bonne Chance Café is a really useful and unusual breakfast and lunch spot on Canal St. Always on the lookout for high quality-per-dollar culinary experiences, and given its proximity a hundred feet from us, this is a new favorite, particularly for its salad bar, although they have a surprisingly extensive menu with a wide variety of Korean and western options, featuring rice or noodle bowls, bibimbaps, wraps, hot & cold sandwiches, and paninis. I’m a salad-for-lunch type person, and the salad bar is always stocked fresh with all the right stuff. Our only complaint is they’re not open for dinner, which would find us going regularly, especially for their bibimbap.
Waiting for a train or wandering around? This place is a must stop. Very clean and extensive menu. The counter guy was very friendly and welcoming. Had a breakfast plate and sandwich. Came out piping hot and most delicious. We ate in. Can tell the staff here take great pride in their work. Sorry we weren’t here later to try the lunch possibilities. A busy spot with lots of order ahead take out people streaming through. A very good sign of its success.
A small counter serve cafe that offers breakfast and healthy lunch menus.
Found this place while walking around the North station and got the spicy pork bibimbab for lunch. The pork was a little too sweet for my taste, but everything else on the plate was delicious. I liked the variety of veggies on the plate and the gochujang sauce was a nice flavor addition. Rice was also cooked perfectly, and the only miss was that it was difficult to mix everything on a small plate. Nevertheless, a great place to grab some healthy and filling lunch.
One word: yum
We ordered 3 rice bowls (tofu, chicken teriyaki, bibimbap) and all loved our meals.
Small business with good portions and tasty food. Will definitely be returning.
Love this place - great food and nice people. Super convenient & quick. Great variety of choices and they have a salad bar!!
Tasty food run by a great husband and wife who are great every day. Great for a breakfast sandwich, or their chicken teriyaki which is a very hearty portion.
Always fresh, always tasty. Constantly packed at lunch time and the husband and wife owners are super friendly. Prices for the portions sizes are generous. You honestly can't beat this place.
Stopped here for breakfast while waiting on a train into Salem. Had two breakfast sandwiches on croissants and one breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. Everything was excellent and the man working the counter/owner was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend.
My girlfriend and I had the Teriyaki Chicken for lunch and it was amazing. There was so much that we had enough leftover for dinner.
Decent place to grab a bite. You can sit eat as well. Self serve salad bar. Asian food. Variety of hot and cold sandwiches. Polite staff. The place convenient to my office and i like the fact that you can sit and eat here.
