Delicious food and great service. Best Caesar salad I’ve ever had- and I’ve had a lot. The tomato sauce is heavenly.

Very nice small Italian place a block off the main north end street. They were able to let us reserve a large table for 9. Food was great and nice wine selection. No desserts because they encourage you to go to one of the local bakeries for coffee and pastries which we did.

We were able to sit outside in their courtyard. The atmosphere had a little bit of an old world relaxing vibe. The food was excellent. They paired the wine with my meal. It made for a nice relaxing evening!

Very nice little place. The risotto and chicken parm were both excellent. Service was altogether fine.

The Host was great. We just kind of showed up like lost puppies and he squeezed us in to the perfect table on the patio for early dinner. Greatly appreciate his kindness and hospitality. Will definitely recommend lasagna and rib eye.

I was very satisfied with my experience here. The waitstaff was friendly and pleasant, and the food was delicious. I had the bolognese pasta with a glass of prosecco and the tagliata appetizer (charcuterie). We ate outside on their patio on a warm summer evening and everything was very cozy and comfortable. I'd highly recommend a visit!

The service was top notch! Our host Philip brought us to the patio garden for our dinner. It was slightly chilly and Philip offered to bring me a makeshift blanket from a clean table cloth to place over my lap! That was a game changer. Plus the food was amazing. Highly recommend the meatballs and shrimp scampi.

DELICIOUS!!!!! Food was phenomenal! Bread could have been better. But, our dishes were delightful! We got a table on the patio on a nice night! Made a reservation & was sat right away. They definitely wanted to flip tables quickly as we felt a bit rushed. I eat slowly & my husband eats quickly. I still had food left on my plate when they took his away. They tried to take mine two more times while we were still talking, drinking, & I was still eating. Dinner was delicious!

Got recommended by one of my colleagues and recently took a visit for dinner. The place was quite small, and I liked that it didn’t attract a lot of tourists like most places on Hanover street. We came in on a Saturday night, but there were a few empty tables available for walk-ins. From the appetizers, we ordered the meatballs and the baby octopus. Stewed in tomato sauce, white wine, and chili, the baby octopus burst with umami, and I really loved its slightly acidic taste from the wine. From the entrées, my favorite was the duck breast. The combination of spiced carrot purée, fig agrodolce, and grilled scallions went really well with the farro and the fatty pieces of duck breast. It may not be an Italian restaurant specialty, but they certainly did it better than most of the French restaurants I’ve been to in the city. Black pepper carbonara and the bolognese were also good, but they were exactly what I anticipated from a classic Italian place - minimal seasoning and fresh ingredients. Overall, our dinner at Forcella was exceptional. Everything from the food to service was on point, and I would highly recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for a quintessential North End dining experience without a bustling crowd.
