Jade Garden: A Boston Chinatown Gem
Whenever I'm strolling through Boston Chinatown, Jade Garden is my ultimate go-to. This place has been a staple for me, and each visit is a comforting journey through flavorful delights.
During my latest visit, I indulged in their culinary treasures. The Steamed Ginger Garlic Lobster, Peapod Steams, Sweet and Sour Pork, Pan-Fried Noodles, Fried Rice, and more graced my table.
The Steamed Ginger Garlic Lobster was a succulent masterpiece, and the Peapod Steams added a delightful touch of freshness. The Sweet and Sour Pork was perfectly balanced, and the Pan-Fried Noodles were a crispy delight. The Fried Rice, an essential, lived up to expectations.
Jade Garden consistently delivers an authentic Chinatown experience with a menu that satisfies every craving. If you're in Boston Chinatown and looking for a reliable and delicious spot, Jade Garden is a must-visit.
So after a stepping on land mine at Peach Farm Chinese restaurant few doors down the night before, I decided to not look at online reviews.
My strategy: if there are lots of Chinese eating inside a Chinese restaurant, it gotta be good.
See lots of Chinese eating in the restaurant. And lots of fresh seafood display in front.... Sign of freshness.
It didn't disappoint. Order double lobster, with the $10 option for noodles. Tested their $7 surf clam. If it ain't good, I'll just throw $7 away. No harm trying.
Boy,.... That's $7 well spent! The surf clam is part tender, part chewy, lots of garlic. This is the go to dish for me from now on. Cheap, tasty, fresh.... It's like I found my treasure chest in Boston!
Half way thru, there were line up for tables.
So if you see lots of Chinese in the restaurant, food should be decent.
The food was ok. The service could have been better. Very nice establishment. I might give them a second chance to redeem themselves in my eyes
Visiting the area and craving for some seafoods so I try out Ginger Lobster at Jade Garden. The food was good but service wasnt good at all, server didnt come over ask if I need anything else or how the food. Overall it good place for chinese food but Im sure there other restaurant near by serve good dish too since it in china town
One of the more consistent Chinese restaurants I’ve ever had. The prices are extremely reasonable and I haven’t had a bad meal yet. Highly recommend
Seafood is very nice and fresh. Grilled oysters are enormous. This place looks kind of old, just like any Chinese restaurant in the Chinatown. Service is passable. If you don’t know what to order, just ask for exactly the same as any other Chinese people are ordering neighboring you.
Food was excellent - ordered the salted fish and chicken fried rice, wanton noodle soup and beef brisket noodle soup. Good for late night eats as this place closes relatively late.
Late night eats in Boston. Hits the spot and satisfies the hungry after a night of dancing in the club or a concert.
Love that Jade Garden is open late!
I can always get my standard meals here, like salt and pepper pork chops over rice here!!
One of the friendliest services we have had in Chinatown. The food was absolutely delicious.
The lobster with ginger/scallion and the yu shiang eggplant were a must. We ordered 3 dishes for 2 people, which was plenty for leftovers.
We’re excited to come back to try more dishes!
