Highly recommend this spot.
I recently had the pleasure of discovering the Meridian Market in East Boston, and I can confidently say that it has become one of my favorite Italian culinary destinations. From the moment I stepped through their doors, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that exudes a sense of community.
Now, let's talk about their star attraction—the Meridian Special sandwich. Oh, where do I even begin? This sandwich is a masterpiece that has forever changed my perception of what a truly exceptional sandwich can be. Every bite of the Meridian Special is a symphony of flavors that dance on the taste buds with perfect harmony.
The combination of high-quality, freshly sliced meats, paired with an array of delectable toppings and a perfectly toasted bread, creates a culinary experience that is simply unparalleled. The balance of flavors is exquisite; the tanginess of the pickles and the creaminess of the cheese complement the savory meats in a way that is pure magic.
What sets the Meridian Market apart is the attention to detail. Each ingredient is carefully selected and prepared with the utmost care, ensuring that every sandwich is a work of art. The portions are generous, making sure you leave satisfied and longing for your next visit.
Beyond the Meridian Special, the market offers an impressive range of other culinary delights. From fresh salads bursting with vibrant flavors to mouthwatering desserts that are a treat for the sweet tooth, Meridian Market truly offers something for everyone.
Moreover, the staff at Meridian Market are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. Their dedication to providing excellent customer service adds to the overall experience, making each visit a delightful one.
In conclusion, if you find yourself in East Boston, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to Meridian Market. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor, this culinary gem will leave a lasting impression. Trust me when I say that the Meridian Special sandwich is an absolute must-try—it's an experience that will elevate your love for sandwiches to new heights.
Man oh man have I found the spot. Doesn’t help my wallet or weight that it’s just right down the street. But these gentlemen really have amazing people skills. They are SUPER nice, and that counts as I’m from the south 😂 please try this spot, btw, the Chicken Cesar Wrap is the BOMB! Thanks
What can I say, I have been eating here since the Italian owners of M & M Variety corner mart at 465 Meridian St, Boston, MA 02128 shut down it’s operations. Been eating their Italiano submarines and steak bomba since the 1990’s. Plus, it was close by to Shore Plaza East on the Border. Meridian Food Market brings back nostalgic memories of my childhood gastronomic adventures my father taught me. I recollect in the nineties a sub only cost $5 dollars, more power to the dollar 😶🌫️ Xin Ciao

I live all the way in California and I still attempt to replicate the meridian specials for my friends on a regular basis. If you’re lucky enough to get the real thing don’t miss out.
