Wonderful hospitality by the owner. She is such an amazing individual. Ash is so delicious. Make sure to bring cash and order Ash.

I came here for lunch as I was curious to try this place. I had the chance to visit Iran a few years ago and was amazed by the hospitality of the people there and the great food. This all is reflected in this restaurant. The woman at the counter (I suppose she’s the owner and chef) was very welcoming and kind. The food is simply delicious and you can taste the love of the people for their culture. I will definitely come back here regularly!!

I don't understand why the rating is low. Great place to try Persian food, if you like kebab. The lentil soup is great. And if you wanna go big. Get the rice plates with a choice or kebab, beef or chicken. The place is closed on Sunday. Sometimes they only accept cash.

I always get the same dish (because it’s perfect and amazing) so I can’t comment on their overall menu. However, they’ve lost a star because the two times I’ve gotten that dish to stay, the serving was literally half or a third the size of the takeout serving. I’m upset that I pay the same price whether staying or going but definitely don’t receive a filling amount when staying in. I love their lamb stew and will be back, but I won’t be dining in again.

Better than ever after 20 years. THIS IS A MUST FOR ANY FOODIE. I learned about great Persian food many years ago. At that time, this restaurant was mostly a chelo-kebab place. Fantastic kebab in the unique style., which I enjoyed. With the demise of many Persian restaurants in the USA ( the wave of post 1979 immigrants is getting older) this one stands out not just because it held up quality but even got better. The original owners are still here and now offer a full Persian menu. Enjoy.

I love the food, now I am a regular. The lady behind the counter is very nice and I kind of trust her now with the quality of food. If the lady is not there I feel like something is missing. I usually go with chicken curry and lemonade.

I've been coming here for about 10 years and it's always fabulous. Organic meats that are freshly prepared with love in front of you. Moti prepares the lunch items that morning and dinner items during the afternoon. Cash only (ATM just around the corner). My go to meal is chicken kebob wraps and her own recipe of rose water lemonade. I highly recommend stopping here as I do whenever possible. Parking can be tough being in the city, but I've always found a spot on Huntington or one of the side streets nearby.

My wife and I love going here; the owner is personable and knowledgeable -- it's like going over to your Persian grandmother's house, if your grandmother were from Iran and if she lived in a restaurant that looks a run-down fast-food joint surrounded by college dives. While casual customers might choose one of the fine (and halal) kabobs, adventuresome souls are rewarded by ordering one of the Persian specialties. Our favorite is fesenjan, a "stew" of white minced chicken mixed with pomegranates and other goodies, served over beautiful jasmine rice. The lamb shank is also excellent, and the pita-like bread is homemade. The salads are fresh, the deserts are to die for, and there are fresh squeezed juices, Persian energy drinks and the usual soft drinks and bottled water. But the best drink is the homemade lemonade, which has saffron and rosewater. Most entrees are around $7 (though sometimes local homemade specialties might be as high as $20). If you are expecting cheap college kebobs, $7-8 might seem high. If you are looking for great Iranian food, it's a complete steal and definitely underpriced for the quality and quantity.

One of my favorite restaurants in Boston. The persian kitchen is overwhelming with spices and taste. The vegetarian soup is a must have! And the long time owner Moti will always great you warmly.

Only homestyle cooking available on Huntington. Only downside is cash-only. Recommended items: -Chicken Biryani (expensive due to saffron) -Chicken Curry -Lamb Stew Put their white sauce on any dish.
