Best dinner around by far! Menu which is elevated above the normal dinner fare in creativity. Rod is our go to spot, never disappoints! Local ingredients, you can’t go wrong!

Food was very good. Went with a friend for our monthly brunch meet up. I had the BLT and the toast was perfectly toasted and the bacon was just right! Friend had French toast, scrambled eggs, toast, and bacon. Everything was delicious! Will be my new lunch spot!

I loved this placed. They also had a rox diner in newton which had a massive menu. Unfortunately this is a smaller and simpler place. The prices are great as well as the food.

I have been looking for a diner that actually serves homemade beef hash and not the stuff from the can. The beef hash here was homemade and it was delicious! The red potatoes, eggs and toast were very good. The portions were huge! I will definitely be returning in the future!

The staff is very nice and very helpful. I had the apple cinnamon granola pancakes. The apples and the granola were all cooked inside the pancake. You get 3 pancakes, and their finished with a topping of powdered sugar. Every couple of bites, you get the crunch of the granola. I enjoyed it.

First time ever coming here and this place is amazing the food is fresh. Everything was so tasty I received great costumer service from Rebecca love her. This will be my new spot from now on 🤭

If you are in West Roxbury, I do recommend the Rox Diner for the food..just ignore all else. You will simply have to balance a few of your wishes about a great breakfast experience. The breakfast choice are broad, and the food is delivered quickly. There are a few "needs". Staff is friendly but falls was short of "attentive". In a very small restaurant where a breakfast staff member has maybe four tables, I don't want to chase you down to get beverage refills, or to remind you I already asked you for refills; nor do I want to remind you that one meal on a three-top still never got delivered 7 minutes after the other meals. The staff also needs to take more of a proactive approach to cleaning during the meal. Basically they are prompt at asking for remove dishes, even if you have clearly not finished the meals, but are seemingly unaware of ANYTHING that falls to the floor. I had to straddle two seats with my feet because the previous diner dropped half of their meal with loose egg yolks on the floor and the staff ignored it when turning the table over. (while waiting for our table I was witness to this so it was clear to me what was dropped on the floor is something that can wait) More debris around the restaurant like straws and napkins and food pieces that the staff observably walks over and around but no one chooses to pick up anything, while even in a busy restaurant with a waitlist, staff were engaging in long conversations with some guests while duties were ignored. I would go back for the food, knowing the service failures because sometimes I'm just looking for the food. BTW, if you are into pancakes...the Cinn Pecan were amazing.

The description matches the atmosphere, I loved the Rox breakfast. I usually opt for a veggies omelet but when they offered cage free and local sources, I was all in and not disappointed.

Classic breakfast diner but high quality food. Free refills of coffee, fantastic omelette with multigrain bread. It was so hard to choose when so many things looked delicious.
