Puro ceviche bar is a very nice place, the food is amazing, the service is great and they make a passion fruit muse that is out of this world, best tacos in town and the ceviches are delicious because they have the best ceviche maker in boston CRISTIAN DOMINGUEZ. The environment is so friendly you can really relax and enjoy the must delicious churros. Overall it’s a great experience.

I’ve had every single ceviche option on PURO’s menu and I’m completely obsessed with all of them! I’ve been having many ceviche cravings since coming to Boston and the price point at PURO is completely worth it for the quantity/flavor that is given. The plantain appetizer here is also to die for along with the skirt steak! If you want to order a drink as well the mojitos both alcohol and non alcoholic are great too. You can ask to add guava syrup as well for additional flavor to the drink!

I love seafood and ceviche so I was excited to try PURO ceviche bar. We tried two ceviches and a paella. Overall there were some hits and some misses. We tried to go by the ratings that were left on the ordering website, but those were purely positive reviews so didn't help much in choosing. The sea bass ceviche was very mid. Just a lot of sour mango liquid dominating the flavor. The fish was fine I guess but I couldn't really appreciate it. The ceviche mixto was good! But of course more expensive. The best part was the shrimp, which was very plump and juicy. I would get the shrimp ceviche instead. The rest of the seafood in it was good but not outstanding. The sauce was more creamy so it was more mild and had more dimensions than the sea bass ceviche. I would go for this sauce for future ceviche. The paella was good but not great. It was quite wet and saucy, and rather than having some crisp at the bottom, was just burnt (but simultaneously some of the rice was underdone). The seafood (clam, mussels, squid) was cooked slightly over what I would've liked, but still had good seafood flavor. The shrimp was, once again, the star. I could've done without the chorizo. Overall I would prefer paella at Barcelona for the flavor, texture, and seafood, but PURO does have better shrimp. We also got the virgin mojito which was the perfect sweetness level and flavor and went really well with the food. My ultimate conclusion here was that I would like to know the shrimp provider for this restaurant. I could see myself coming back here just for the shrimp ceviche...

Honestly the ceviche was OK but not the best that I've ever had. The presentation of all dishes was excellent. The place is small. It has outside seating but the inside seating is in the basement and it smells like an old bar there, so I strongly encourage you to avoid indoor seating here.

Best sea bass ceviche you can find. The paella was huge (could serve 3-4) and had a nice Smokey flavor with the chorizo that permeated the sea food. The muscles came with an amazing sauce. The cocktails were well crafted. If you’re in Boston looking for fresh and unique seafood, this is the spot!

Excellent service! Beautiful place with urban atmosphere. A recommendation to the cook the fish was a bit over cooked/fried for my taste but the overall taste was great! I highly recommend this place!

Amazing service and ceviche! 5 stars and many thanks to Jason for the delicious drinks. We had tuna ceviche, guacamole and pork tacos. All were fantastic. We only wish our trip was longer so we could go again. Def recommend a visit. We stopped in mid afternoon but willing to bet this place is hopping at night and great date night vibes. Def not a lot of seating, but a nice intimate atmosphere.

I’ve heard great things and finally got to try it! Everything we ordered was amazing. I highly recommend the cachapa and the octopus! Also, the churros were made well. You rarely find churros made correctly and they didn’t miss.

The plantains ans rum rum baby are amazing. The paella, ceviche mixto, planche pulpo, churros, patatas bravas, and sangria are not bad. The restaurant offers $3 tacos on Tuesdays and $1 oysters on thursday.
