We are from the Cape and came up to pick family up from South Station. Stopped here to have something to eat and drink before their bus arrived. It was amazing to say the least! My boyfriend and I loved everything about Loco, the atmosphere, food was excellent, & drinks were out of this world! Not to mention the staff were super friendly and nice. Our waitress was on top of it the entire time and food and drinks were on our table in an unreal short amount of time. This place is defiantly going to be one of our top stops while we are in Boston!! I highly recommend, Thank you for a great first impression :)
AMAZING! My husband and I are staying in South Boston and were recommended to this place. After 3 days of trying to get a table (the waits were too long to fit our timeline) we finally got to relax while waiting for a table and ended up staying at the bar for dinner. Service is precise and friendly. Food is on-point and priced accordingly! I recommend this place to anyone, local or traveling! Perfect visit and the bartender gave us great advice on things to occupy our time while on vacation!
Almost not a tourist trap, but we enjoyed the lively atmosphere on a Tuesday night. Tacos and drinks were satisfying, and despite initial reservations about the $1 oysters, they turned out to be of good quality. Ariana ensured we were well taken care of, but there was a small hiccup – the advertised $1 per 🦪 on the menu ended up being $2.+$ per 🦪 on the final bill. Apparently, the $1 promo is only on Mondays, so a reprint of the order slip might be in order. Overall, still recommended!
The food was very good and fresh. I had three tacos that were exceptional. My wife had a salad that she really loved, and she is quite particular about those things. This restaurant/bar is geared for the younger crowd, so if you are looking for a quiet place to have dinner look elsewhere. But it definitely has that fun young person vibe to it!
We visited on Monday for lunch. The $1 oysters were clean, tasty and fresh; it's a shame that they are limited to 24 per "order form" which I assume is per 2 people. We also had the tacos and the fried wings which were just above average but good enough.

The place is poppin. My party and I came here in the pouring rain and the place was still crowded. Reservations is recommended, or you might be waiting up to an hour for a table. My only gripe is the service. They initially had us waiting for 20 minutes and no one came to our table. I had to go tell the hostess we were waiting for service and even after that, still no one. After 10 minutes I went and told her again and someone finally came to our table. The food was exceptionally delicious. We ordered Street Corn for an appetizer. It was glazed with an orange colored, creamy sauce and sprinkled with parmesan cheese and chives. My wife ordered the Taco Barria, laced with shaved steak, minces onions, peppers, and other ingredients; served with a broth-like dipping sauce w/ chives and other herbs floating in it. I ordered a Smash Burger. It has a tasty, succulent double patty, american cheese, carmelized onions, housed in two buttery brioche buns; served w/ a side of fries and ketchup.
Not sure why we got carded twice. I'm nearly 40. With that said, my group just flew in for work and was there for the after hours menu. Food was good servers were nice. Wobbly table and chairs and a bit dark
Great food, awesome vegetarian/pescatarian options, margaritas are delicious, the staff was really nice, and not too long waiting in between things even though there were a lot of people and it was a Saturday night. Definitely will go back!! Great to have outdoor seating!!
Good vibes! We got to sit next to a big open window. Good food with speciality cocktail for the month of October.

I loved it here just left after celebrating my mom a birthday lunch. Our waiter was so helpful and amazing definitely will be coming again. The food was so fresh and really delicious I definitely recommend the Birria tacos and the guacamole and chips. I also had a coconut margarita and a passion fruit one and they were both good but I preferred the coconut one. They definitely made my mom feel special since it was her birthday 🥳😊.
Came here my last 2 trips to Southie. Absolutely love the vibes of this place and the cocktails are exceptional. It’s so much fun around happy hour, dinner, or later. The coco margarita was impossibly delicious. Also loved the frozen margarita and the spicy cucumber marg. Queso and tacos are always amazing too! Cozy and casual for a group of friends to hangout for day drinks into happy hour.
