Awesome flavors and amazing staff. Love this place!
Amazing food! amazing people! truly outstanding, a really unique place, really wonderful food and atmosphere!
Polvoroso se poyo and poyo de abodo was good. Shredded Beef was good. Coconut rum was good, beef tenderloin was bad. We ordered all appetizers which were decent.
Excellent food, service, outdoor seating and interior ambiance! Can't wait to go back. Everything was delicious!
Loud and crowded. The food and service are good at this fast-paced restaurant. Tables are close and conversations tend to be loud. No shortage of 30-ish patrons contribute to high-turnover tables.
My family came out to Boston from Oregon to see the sites.
We don't even know how we found this hole in the wall restaurant, but WOW we are glad we did! If you like Spanish food... This is right up your alley. I had the chicken (See Pictures) with a mushroom sauce and it was killer good! The wife had Salmon and my daughter had Mahi Mahi (pictured) and they both loved it! My son had the beef (yes pictured) and it WAS NOT a winner. So that was the only miss, and may want to stay away from it. Show waiter my picture.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Enjoy MORRY
We were staying with friends who lived in the neighborhood. Called ahead and waited, then when our table opened up they phoned us an we walked down and right into our booth. Fantastic food and sangria. Can't wait to go back.
Cozy & Delicious. Got a chance to hit up the South End location and immediately loved the atmosphere once I stepped inside. We arrived around 6:30 and were able to be seated right away before the dinner crowd swarmed the tiny eatery at 7. I heard alot of talk about their mojoito bar but quickly found out that was only at their Brookline location; in the South End its just beer and wine.
The waiter was very informative and gladly assisted me in making decisions on the menu. I highly recommend their arepas and can't wait to go back and try the empanada options.
The main courses are still a bit pricey but their flavor backs up their cost. I devoured the rollo de pollo which was bacon wrapped chicken stuffed with spinach, feta and raisins served with an arugula salad. If you're plan is to dine out on a budget this place would be great for a few glasses of wine and some tasty arepas.
Very cute little cozy restaurant with authentic Venezuelan food. You gotta try their arepas, little corm bread sandwiches with their special avocado souce! Try pulled beef or chicken. Shrimp ceviche is also very delicious. Go there on a week day between 8-8:30PM you will find parking spots and available tables. You won't regret!
Great RIBS! Small place, arrive early. The cran-orange smoked ribs, falling off the bone, with mango BBQ sauce were fantastic. Yucca was very filling - amazing sauce. Cerviche was good but more like shrimp cocktail. Sangria was good. Tostones (fried plantains) were great. We got there at about 6:30 on Thursday and were seated right away. By 8 p.m., it was so crowded that we had to weave through a big crowd at the front door.
First time here
Friendly staff and great local gem
Seems I’m not a fan of Arepas but overall they seemed good
Trio of empanadas loved the one with the meat best
Lamb chops were delicious
And ribs were absolutely the best
Delicious red wine
Orinoco, located in the charming South End of Boston, captures the essence of Latin American cuisine in a small, cozy setting. We arrived towards the end of the night, so we were unable to order the coveted arepas, the stars of the show. Nevertheless, the restaurant exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere, luring us in with its good vibes.
For our appetizers, we ventured into the realm of Pepito Costillitas, tender and boneless baby-back ribs. Each succulent bite transported us to a heaven - 5 out of 5 on the flavor scale. The Tequeños, delicate parcels of Guayanes cheese nestled within a crisp fried pastry dough, were delicious - 4 out of 5.
Moving on to the mains, I embarked on a culinary adventure with the Lamb Chops, which was so succulent and seasoned to perfection. It was definitely the showstopper of our meal. 5 out of 5.
The service provided by our waiter was exceptional. He made us feel welcomed and promptly accommodated our request to relocate from an outdoor table to the cozy interior.
Although we missed out on the renowned arepas, we couldn't have been happier with our dining experience.
Terrific neighborhood restaurant with a tasty, different menu of delicious small plates. The arepas, BBQ ribs and sangria 🍷 were outstanding!
Absolutely fantastic. I'll be honest that I don't remember names for our dishes, but they were all delicious. The pork ribs were tender. My combination meat sampler with steak, sausage, and chicken was delicious. We also ordered the sangria. It was one of the best I've had. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful evening. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
Love the food here! Everything we ordered was delicious. The creamed quinoa was my least favorite of all we ordered, but it was still very good. They only have two deserts on the menu, but they are both excellent. The molten fudge cake is probably the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place.
Excellent service! Really tasty and very good portions of the dishes! Very friendly and cozy. A good place to visit with friends or just to have a nice dinner.
¡Delicioso! I had two arepas Reina Pepiada and yuca frita. So good, very affordable, and super filling. I couldn't finish it all!
Food was incredible.
Service was fast.
All good was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. Drinks were on point and our server was so kind and hospitable. Bonus- gluten free!
Best meal I have had in a long time and a must stop if I’m the area or staying at the Collonade Boston!
Very tasty food in a fun setting. Tables are tight but that's the norm locally. Fun night at a very reasonable price. $66 for 2 eating tapas styy until we got full and included a couple glasses of sangria. Can beat that.
Great little Venezuelan place!
Atmosphere - very nice - couple of cozy booths, couple of tables inside and outside.
Service - friendly and quick. We had to change tables cause outside was too cold and they were quick to accommodate.
Food - very very good! Very generous portions for mains; appetizers were delicious! Fried plantain with cheese inside - simply amazing, and bacon wrapped almond filled date - seems like the best chaise for a drink.
Definitely a place worth checking out!
Note - no reservations possible. First come first serve.
