⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 This review is for their patisserie pop up. I have had the pleasure to dine at Menton in the past and could not wait to try their pop up. I must say, it was a taste sensation like no other! Every bite was a journey through flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. 🍒 Sour Cherry and Pistachio Napoleon: A true masterpiece! The layers of flaky pastry and the delightful combination of sour cherry and pistachio created a symphony of flavors. Each bite was a blissful burst of sweetness and nuttiness. 🍫 Chocolate Croissant: Pure indulgence! The rich, buttery layers enveloping the decadent chocolate made for a heavenly treat. It was like a warm hug for my taste buds. 🥐 Almond Croissant: A classic redefined! The perfect balance of crunch and softness, with a generous almond filling that was simply divine. This croissant is a must-try for almond enthusiasts! 🥐 Pastrami Spiced Croissant: A savory delight! The innovative blend of pastrami spices infused into the flaky layers created a unique and satisfying experience. A savory twist that I thoroughly enjoyed. One of my favorites! 🍰 Carrot Cake Cinnamon Bun: A delightful fusion! The marriage of carrot cake and cinnamon bun was a stroke of genius. Moist, flavorful, and utterly satisfying – a true testament to the patisserie's creativity. One of the best cinnamon buns I have ever had. 🍩 Chocolate Eclair: While the other treats swept me off my feet, the chocolate eclair, unfortunately, wasn't my personal favorite. The toffee undertones were a bit overwhelming for my taste, but I can appreciate the craftsmanship and quality. The patisserie was located where their bar usually is and it was as inviting as the flavors themselves, with a warm and friendly staff adding to the overall positive experience. 10/10 across the board, with an array of delights that will leave you craving more. Please have more pop ups!

I absolutely love this place. My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and service was incredibly fast and friendly! The price point for this tasting menu is relatively good in comparison to other ones I have gone to in the past in Seattle. The oysters were an amazing start to the rest of the courses, my overall favorite dishes were the lamb and the soufflé. The flavor combinations complemented each other well and was a filling meal! I loved the buttery croissants that they served in between the meals too.

One of my favorite restaurant in Boston. We went there to celebrate graduation. The service was above and beyond. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Now the restaurant no longer offer a la carte menu. Only chef’s tasting menu available. Foods were amazing. I would recommend you to choose pavlova for your dessert.

I brought my wife to Menton for her 40th birthday and I am super pleased with the entire experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. From beginning to end, the staff did a wonderful job creating a memorable experience for us. The service was impeccable with a supreme attentiveness to detail. Both the server and sommelier shared with us special and vivid details of origins of the food and wine that truly heightened the entire dining experience. The food was not only delectable but beautiful to look at, and the wines paired perfectly with each dish. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will certainly be returning for the next special occasion.

Had a great experience here!! All of dishes were very decent and its service was perfect as well. Our server was very smart and recommended exactly what we wanted. He was very humorous so we had a happy dinner here. The price is a little high but it's worth to have dinner here :)

Everything was amazing; my boyfriend and I ordered the 180 USD chef 🧑‍🍳 fixed menu, which we thoroughly enjoyed; my personal favorite was the cod.

All I can say is wow! We visited Menton last night for Valentine’s Day for the first time and we loved it so much that we decided it will become our yearly Valentine’s Day tradition. James was our waiter and he was excellent! My husband asked if it was possible to surprise me with flowers and they did surprise me. The food was amazing as well. We can’t wait to come back!

This restaurant was perfect for our anniversary. The food was exceptional and the service was so efficient and attentive that we were blown away! The prix fix is a great option and I added the lamb from the tasting menu. The food was so good one dish was better than the next. This is an ideal spot for a special occasion!

I was there for the 2023 New Year's Eve celebration and had the tasting menu. Most of the items were memorable. So many dimensions of tastes and textures. The staff members were professional and friendly. My only low point was that I didn't really enjoy the foe gras dish too much. My friends felt the same. Otherwise it's a great experience. This is not my first time here, and it won't be the last! Thank you so much, Menton. FYI, I'm not a big fan of foe gras anyway. So, I am a little biased.

Wonderful high-end dining experience in the Seaport neighborhood ! We came for my wife's birthday, and the staff were very detail oriented -- printing a happy birthday message on the menu, and wishing her as we walked in. All this was in addition to accounting for our dietary restrictions. Our waiter was also extremely attentive, friendly, and willing to answer questions about the wines and food items that came along. We ended up doing the chef's tasting menu + wine pairing to get a full picture of Menton's cullinary depth. While some of the dishes were not excellent, the entire experience was memorable. Keep in mind that this menu changes everyday. The bread pairings were intermittent, but a good way to just clear one's taste buds for the courses that came afterward. 1. Meringue - light and good start to the meal. 2. Surf Clam - Also light and had a tinge of bitterness; went well with the pairing 3. Smoked Mussel - Easily the best pairing of the night, and very creatively presented. 4. Foie Gras Torchon - Was not the best we have had. The biscuits that accompanied were more highlighted in taste, which says something about the foie gras. Good wine pairing. 5. Stuffed Pappardelle - Well presented, but I felt it was slightly oily. Good wine pairing 6. Squid - Crudo was presented well here and tasted good. Wine pairing was a bit odd (did not have a great aftertaste) but the dish made up for it. 7. Lobster - Excellent presentation and taste. Went very well with the wine pairing. The sauce was so well balanced to make it still seem it was a light dish in the middle of a chef's tasting. 8. Lamb - Heavier in the context of the meal, but worth the wait. Wine pairing was the second best out of the entire meal, providing depth with the dish. 9. Dessert - Sorbet was first, which was excellent. The grapefruit was something I did not expect to go that well, but it was very rich without being heavy. The Nougat, which came afterwards, was also fresh, and paired well with the ice cream and sherry that was provided. The staff also catered to my wife to give her a happy birthday - inspired dish. Hope this is helpful and thank you to the staff for my wife's birthday enjoyable! Hope to come by again soon.

BEST MEAL OF MY LIFE! It is an absolutely incredible dining experience! All the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I was traveling from Texas solo and this restaurant was across from my hotel. I feel like this place is great to share with someone special. I did the chef tasting menu. Best recommendation is to not be afraid to try something different! The foie gras torchon was amazing! You won’t regret your decision to try this place! Worth every penny!

I don’t know why this is 4.5. My experience was a total foodie’s daydream. This is the kind of restaurant where you should order 4 courses at once and let the experience come to you. Not cheap, no, but some people spend money on concerts because they love the art of music. Food is art! I love art 🫶 all sorts. I only give 4 stars for atmosphere because a cork ceiling would help acoustics although I should add back a star bc the bathroom smells divine! ☺️🤭 what did I eat? Oysters, caviar puffs, pistachio cream pasta, salmon, chocolate deliciousness. The point is to finish each course. Yes, leave every plate, every course! (No, don’t lick the bowl.)

Decent flavors but not enough bang for the buck in terms of food.

Food Overall the food was great, but there were two disappointments, considering we paid $445 including tips. I ordered the chef menu while my husband ordered from the regular menu. The two dishes impressed me the most were Black Cod and Seared Foie Gras. They were cooked perfectly and the taste was mind blowing. My husband ordered Foie Gras, Shrimp Spaghetti, and Dried Aged Steak. The spaghetti was amazing. It was definitely the best we have had in Boston. Now let’s talk about the two disappointments. First of, I paid additional $40 to replace my strip-loin with American wagyu. After my first bite, I immediately knew that was not wagyu. Even though our waitress confirmed they served wagyu, but I was so disappointed. The steak was not cooked very well and it was chewy. I cannot believe any medium rare wagyu can be chewy. The second disappointment was the trio ice cream. What a mediocre ice cream. We might as well get it from a supermarket. Everything else The restaurant was very classy and the service was good. It was odd that most waiters and waitresses have a thick accent and it was hard to understand especially through the mask.

We did the Chefs Whim. Which is a bunch of small plate tasting's and the wine pairing!! The first 4 courses were absolutely incredible. Last two were not my favorite. It was a great experience and I had so much fun doing it with my son, who is also a chef. Our server was fantastic and all the other servers were extremely friendly. We truly enjoyed ourselves . Thank you!

I spent a lot of time in Menton, France growing up, so while visiting Boston and I heard there was a restaurant by that name, I felt compelled to try it. Menton the actual city has a rich and complicated history and its own culinary identity, a bit different from its neighbors Nice, Monaco and Ventimiglia. So I was kind of hoping for a nod to that tradition. Let's just say I am not in the target market and that the Menton name is a symbol for French or Italian or Mediterranean food. My spouse and I had the 8 course, chef's tasting menu which is a series of small plates. After the first dish, the persian cucumber in foamed buttermilk, the staff takes both our plates and utensils so that we have to eat the next dish, a wagyu tartare toast, with our hands! I thought this was pretty bold and fun. In addition to the dishes on the menu there's no fewer than 3 different bread servings. My spouse's favorite dish was the spaghetti alla chitarra; I really liked the last savory plate, the Tunis lamb, which was really perfectly cooked. I found in general that the plates were very well-executed, not necessarily the most innovative recipes but they were like notes in a partition hit exactly right. A couple of things took that experience to the next level; first, we were very well taken care of by the staff. Also, we had both non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu and care went into designing them, those were not after thoughts. All in all, this was a very solid experience and I would book again in a heartbeat.
