After searching through multiple caterers, we really appreciated the time Mary took to speak about individual options and the customization of a menu, instead of an email inquiry. We drove to Boonton to create a menu and taste a couple of things. Working with Mary was easy and she was very transparent in the process. We ultimately went with J&M and could not be happier with the decision. Mary helped us figure out how much food would work for our crowd and also the timing of service and every detail. We were beyond blessed to have Karen and Jen working our party. The food was incredible, but the service really took the experience over the top! We ENJOYED our party, food, guests, instead of running around like crazy! The variety of offerings was perfect for our crowd, everything was delicious and we have already given J&M's name to another friend for their party! HIGHLY RECOMMEND you have your party catered here and cannot express enough the value of taking the option of having helpers, request Karen and Jen- you will not be disappointed!!

I got the Philly cheesesteaks and it was made with cheese wiz plus it was a lot of bread to steak ratio. Im not a big fan of chess wiz. Onion rings were above par which is not an easy feat these days most are frozen and bagged these seemed freshly made with real onions!

We hosted my daughters bday party at a Boonton farm and didn’t want to go with pizza so I found J&M catering which had good reviews. The food options were limitless and reasonably priced. Mary was sooo nice and responsive from the very beginning. We went with pulled pork sliders, cole slaw, Mac and cheese, hot dogs, salad, fruit tray and brownies and cookies. The food arrived while we were at the farm. It was set up perfectly! They even moved the table so it would be close to an outlet and then waited for us to return. The food was great! There were lots of comments about how good the Mac and cheese was. Then we passed by Mary’s grill to drop off the rentals. She was so nice and explained how she does catering for all types of occasions including weddings! I am not surprised. Too bad we are not local or ai would use J&M catering as my go-to all the time! Honestly, 10/10!
