Our family stopped here for a cool treat after riding the C&O canal. Parking is a little weird on the opposite side of the street with no clear crossing of main street. The outdoor deck seating was nice but the AC exhaust blows on nearly every area, making it unbearably hot in the summer. However, the ice cream was delicious and the staff sweet. Family especially enjoyed the dark chocolate raspberry truffle!

If you're driving through Boonesboro or coming back from Antitem battlefield and need something to cool down that sweet tooth they're giving away smiles and tasty treats at Potomac Street Creamery.
We came on a Friday afternoon and the inside still wasn't open but the walk up window was. With only a short line to ponder my flavor I heard they make their own waffle cones. So I ordered that along with one scoop x3 for our group, it came to about $8.50. Make sure to bring that cold hard cash because this window doesn't accept cards.
I got the Roadrunner Raspberry which is white chocolate ice cream swirled with red raspberry and raspberry filled dark chocolate chunks! Yum! It was a super refreshing flavor with a sweet kick, although I didn't feel the base tasted much like white chocolate but the cone was super light and crispy so eat it fast.
They also have shakes, sundaes, and sno-cones and the scoops were BIG! The local park (Schafer) is even right down the street (Park Ln) if you want to take the kids or play and eat.
Friendly staff. Lots of ice cream options. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Boonsboro is an adorable town. This ice cream shop is a wonderful asset. We stop there when driving through the area.
I loveee this place! It's your classic corner ice cream shop! The ice cream is always good and all the staff are very friendly. Just be sure to bring cash (they don't take cards)!
