We waited in the drive-thru line for 1/2 hour. That is the 2nd time that has happened at the McDonald's in Boone, NC. The ice cream cones were worth the wait. The time we were there waiting was 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Me and my girlfriend rolled up at 11 right at close we were not expecting for them to be nice and we felt bad but they were incredibly nice and offered us extra food and pies.

We just parked while 2 of us went in to get a to go order. The french fries were hot, fresh, and perfect. It was very busy, so we did have to wait. The sweet tea was perfect. I took pictures out in the parking lot, because their plants are gorgeous! Thanks!

Gabe is the best. i’m assuming he is a manager but this man was on. i ordered a caramel mocha and he informed me that the machine was being cleaned. he offered me a regular, iced, or even a frappe. also my friend messed with his ice cream and it fell into his hands. Gabe got my mans another ice cream for free. his tone, body language, eye contact, and care for us customers was extraordinary to say the least. get this man some money or some benefits asap fr❗️

Food was fine but unfortunately only one of the kiosks for ordering food was working, and the one cashier was doing her best but was clearly overwhelmed. There's no point in having technology if it's not usable. I would hope that they will fix these soon.

Meal came out fast and the fries were fresh! The owner happened to be there today and she seemed like she really valued the employees she even helped ring up a customer which from my experience most owners would never. The older manager Claire was super sweet and the whole vibe was better than expected from the whole crew. Plus the prices are cheaper than the West Jefferson McDonald’s.
