My better half wanted brisket, so brisket we found. Our first night in Boone was spent dining at the Pedalin' Pig. We walked through the front door to find glowing signs hanging over a well stacked bar, chalk written menus, and a nod their name with cool looking old school bicycles hanging from the ceilings. A few more nods to their name, was found here and there throughout the restaurant. There was a few statues, a pic on the napkin holder but the ones that had me smile was found at the entrance of the kitchen. They were color drawings from the many of kids who dined and I'm sure, scraped their plates clean. We kept our order simple. The wife wanted brisket and a side of coleslaw. I asked our hostess Sabrina what her favorite dish there was. She said with no hesitation the brisket, so I went ahead with that. Her recommended sides were green beans and the hash brown casserole, so I went with both. As an appetizer we ordered fried pickles. The wife ordered a vodka/juice cocktail called Giggle juice. I went with the Damn Darlin. Both drinks were excellent and the fried pickles left us wanting more. More came in the way of our orders. The brisket was quite delicious. Same went for all of the sides. You were both quite happy with our orders. It was an enjoyable evening with good food! Sabrina made the experience that much better. She was friendly, extremely attentive and made the dining experience even more memorable. We'd like to thank you again. I most certainly would, as would my wife, recommend eating at this place. Really good food, great service and people working there.

I love me some BBQ. I’ll start with saying that the service was perfect, polite, and fast! I got the double smoke house option to split with my date. The ribs were cooked perfect! The brisket was delicious however it was definitely over cooked and tough in some sections. The pulled pork was a little too strong of vinegar tasting for my liking. I got the Oreo Parfait as a dessert and dang that was good!

Excellent, tender smoked brisket, pulled pork and chicken. The crust on the brisket was so delicious I could easily eat a pound of it. Lots of sides to choose from. We’ve had the smoked wings in the past and they were awesome as well. The baked beans and green beans are amazing. They have a good selection of barbecue sauces too. Our takeout was ready super quick.

Wonderful food and attentive service. Slightly polished joint offering a variety of barbecue, but thankfully all executed at a high level. Their Alabama sauce is wonderfully unique, and their pulled pork and brisket are wildly juicy. Impressive ribs as well!

Some of the best BBQ I have had and they don't call it in on their sides like a lot of BBQ joints. I got the Smokehouse Sampler (didn't need any sauce) and my son got the grilled cheese and brisket sandwich. We are on a road trip (Blue Ridge Parkway) and have not done well with restaurants. He told me, "Dad I think we hit a home run with this one." Highly recommend!

We had a great experience. Our server Chance was a delight. My lunch WAS pulled pork tray, sweet potato fries and collard greens. Not smidge left, it was so delicious.

We were spending the weekend in the area and we're looking for something quick and good and this place is amazing! The bbq was excellent, flavors were on point, the portions were great and not too expensive. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. They have a great decorations on the walls that will keep you busy while you wait for your food (it was fairly quick). I'll definitely go back there when I'm in the area. Very humble but delicious food! Highly recommend it 🔥🔥🔥

Delicious food. Large portions. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. My Smokehouse Sampler was huge and so, so tasty. My wife loved her Brisket 🌮 Tacos. The sides were tasty too. I had plenty of BBQ left over. Recommended joint.

All of their bbq is delicious, but if you don't get the loaded fries, you are missing out on a foodgasm! The combination is to die for, but their queso....amazing!
