Poseidon's Traditional English Fish And Chips

I visited the Poseidon fish bar today and ordered 2 large portions of Cod and Peas .When I was informed of the cost my initial reaction was ' by the christ it had better be good, have you charged me for a great white shark or a blue whale? ' The reaction from the staff and probably the owners was humorous and assured me that you get what you pay for. I can assure you that I did and it was worth every penny. Thanks for a memorable Friday night chippy tea, I did make them chuck in some free tartare sauce😋😋😋

This evening is the first time I have eaten from here, we ordered the large cod, 2 sausages and some chips (all gluten free) and it was beautiful! By far the best fish I have ever eaten! The kids have both thoroughly enjoyed the sausages and chips so much they wouldn't even share it 🤣 totally recommend to both gluten free and non gluten free people. We ate it so fast I forgot to take a photo! 🤣👍🏽

So the wife asked me would I like fish and chips, I said yeah. So she ordered, I asked where from she said from POSEIDON. A very friendly guy brought the meal to our doorstep. Delivery was quick and the meal tasted absolutely lovely. We will be ordering again, very impressed, keep up the good work...

We often come from Gatley near Manchester airport to go to a pizza shop on the same road as Poseidon's but now we have found this AMAZING chippy things are going to change. I would highly recommend this brilliant chippy to any one and everyone. The food is perfect and freshly cooked to order. The staff are extremely nice and friendly and the prices are very good as well but to be fair i would expect to pay more for the excellent quality of food you get. One last thing they cook the chips in separate oil to anything else which is good news for vegetarians like my wife. Well done to the team in Poseidon's your doing a fantastic outstanding job.
