Paul's Chippy

Called in because i couldn't park near chip's r us, lady at the counter not very friendly. Didn't know it has changed hands but omg what a difference! Because fish is cooked as you walk in it isn't given time to drain so when i got home it was lying in grease and sloppy, also i was given haddock which i didn't ask for! Won't be going again!

I wanted to give this chippy a try due to all the good reviews. However, I wouldn’t be going back again for several reasons. The owner was creepy towards me. Not impressed with his behaviour towards me at all and made my skin crawl. Arrogant and full of himself would best describe it. Secondly the food tasted like it had been fried again. It was soaked in cold oil and the chips just had that taste and feeling you get when they are cold. I’ll be returning back to ‘Chips R Us’ where good service falls in with the good food.

I have only just become a customer as I've not been aware that this chippy was still open never mind anything else. Well I am really happy to be able to have a good English chippy that delivers yet I am just disappointed that they don't deliver one day of the week which I don't remember right now but it was a day when I noticed it was a day when money would be great if they delivered.
