Achari Bolton

Dine here with some friends on 26-10-2023 while visiting from the USA. Great food, with a good menu. Service was excellent and the staff very helpful. Food served in a very timely fashioned and was very good. The only downer, which was handled expertly by the staff was a loud mouthed drunken "lady". It's out of the way but well worth the trip. Next time I am in Bolton this is on my list of places to dine..

We have been coming here for a few years now. This is without a doubt the BEST Indian restaurant in Bolton. Beautiful, well cooked, well spiced food. Butter Chicken is a favourite of mine and is amazing! Large selection of food abd drinks. Very good value for money and very good portion sizes. Very friendly staff, polite and professional. Beautiful decor inside and lots of seating. The booths are lovely and very comfy. We will always visit here if we fancy an Indian for a meal out, long live Achari ❤️🌟❤️

They don’t lie when they quote “Best in the North West.” I ordered a fruity Korma with chips because I’m a whimp and it was absolutely irresistible. The food is gorgeous and filling which makes the price most definitely worth it. They accept reservations too which is useful and usually they’re not fully booked. Drinks selection is also impressive and the atmosphere and music of the restaurant fits its authenticity and theme.

I'm being honest and fair with this review as I have eaten in the restaurant and used their delivery service. Eating at the restaurant is an amazing experience as the food is amazing and the staff are brilliant. On the other hand my delivery experience was poor as the time it took from order to receiving it was too long "Almost 2hrs". The food would have been to Acharis usual high standard also but for the fact that it was cold. I even rang the restaurant and enquired about how long delivery was taking before it arrived and was told that it was on it's way although he seemed unsure of this, so I told him that if the driver had been out for ages "delivering multiple orders" that the food would be cold and to just cancel the order and refund my money. He asked me to wait a minute while he found out exactly where the driver was and would call me back. Two minutes later he did call me back and said the driver had only left five minutes aiand that everything would be fine. I appreciate that they are a busy place as the food is amazing but for myself almost £40 for a takeaway is a lot of money and for the majority of it to end up in the bin I was gutted. This could have been avoided if they had been more customer focused and just cancelled the order and refunded my money instead of just being interested in taking the money even though they knew my concerns prior to delivering sub standard food. UPDATED Recieved a satisfactory response to my review within an hour. Updated my service score from ⭐⭐ to ⭐⭐⭐⭐ because I appreciate that they are not just ignoring the review as many other places would. I will be using the delivery service again and will update my opinion after my next Achari experience Wow what a different experience this time around with my takeaway. I spoke with Sid as requested and he was amazing. The food arrived in good time and every item was piping hot and delicious. Other Restaurants and takeaways would ignore their reviews and leave it at that. Achari saw that I had a few problems with my order and dealt with it in the most professional manner, they made sure that my next order was 100% and the service was above and beyond. I highly recommend
