Master Wang's

Was so excited they were reopening. Such a disappointment. Not only did they not have a lot of what was on their menu, but the portions were small and the food......meh. I have never seen mushy gray 'fried rice' before. The chicken was deep fried to jerky and my husband couldn't even chew it. The crab Rangoon was burned, crispy and the insides cooked out of them and what was left was curdled looking. I had such high hopes! I am a Chinese food junkie so I'll probably give them another try. But I'm not enthusiastic.

On Saturday I ordered a delivery that included Egg Drop Soup, which I had ordered at least 4 times before. When it came, the soup was milky. The other 4 times it was clear. Every restaurant I have gotten it from had clear soup. I called and spoke with Pam. I explained the situation. She said she made it herself and it was always milky. I told her the other 4 times it was clear. She refused to make it right. I fixed egg drop soup mix, which is always clear. We have some skinny, starving feral cats who love leftover egg drop soup. I put it out for them, and they wouldn't eat it! I am extremely disappointed. But it is their loss. My order was $34.00 not including tip. The 1st pic is Wong's. The rest are off the web.

Nothing special, just another midwest Missouri “Chinese” restaurant. Anything made here can be made at home for a better price and a larger portion. Good has no depth, fried rice is just rice mixed with soy sauce and butter. All the fried chicken tastes like the sauces were premade from a bottle with copious amounts of sugar. They are nice though, but still even after reopening, have a lot to learn.
