El Rodeo

She had the Chicken Fajita Taco Salad; I had the Enchiladas Supreme. The food was average for a Mexican Restaurant. Cold unsalted chips, average salsa, decent sweet tea. The atmosphere, menu selection, and service brought up the overall rating a full star. We got there after 1:30 for a late lunch and the place was about half full. We were served promptly and the meals were hot. I wasn't offered a receipt on check-out and had to ask for one. The cashier wasn't as pleasant as the rest of the staff. You'll have to walk a block or so to park when the place is busy.

I have been to El Rodeo many times. I have never had a bad experience and never had bad food. The atmosphere is great. The wait staff is phenomenal. Their food is always hot and delicious. If you go to El Rodeo, you must order either the fried ice cream or the fried apple burrito. You won't regret it!!

I'm from New Mexico I know my Mexican food and i was amazed how good this place was. This place can compete with Authentic Mexican restaurants all over. Prices tend to be higher then other places I've ate at and the only thing stopping my 5 star is no cold beer or margaritas getting served along with food.

Always delicious food & great friendly service. Their portions are perfect, and you never have to wait very long. Always very clean. For as big as it is it's not noisy like a lot of bigger busy restaurants, you can have nice conversations without yelling across the table. This was our 5th or 6th visit, definitely won't be our last!

It was a busy place. Looks small on the outside, but big on the inside. Food was good and service was good as well. I went with a big group and they took care of us pretty quickly. It is located on a side street, so you may not know it is there unless you are looking for it. I've been through town many times, but I didn't know it was there till I went with my group.

El Rodeo is by far the best mexican restaurant in Bolivar, .MO. We had the lunch fajita and it was very filling, almost too much. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. Also very clean. We've eaten here a few times and will continue to do so. Prices.are reasonable as well.
