Chip Cookies

There is nothing better than Chip Cookies! I love how they keep things alive with a new cookie every month - and now it seems like they are doing TWO new cookies per month! I look forward to trying new flavors every month. The product itself is delicious, especially with a glass of milk. The cookies are kept very nice and warm. I do like the think cookies much better than the large, flat ones. Something about the thick ones taste a lot better. The staff at this location is okay - I’ve gotten greeted by very positive and friendly people, and other times it seemed like the poor girl just needed to go home and take a break. Now as for their delivery service, I myself have never tried it but I’ve heard many stories circulating cookies that never arrived, and then when contacting the company not receiving any response. I think this is very upsetting as there have been times I’ve wanted to order them instead of driving 20 minutes for a cookie, but I always refrain from doing so after being reminded of all the reviews. $10 is only $10, I get it, but money is money and if you multiply that by the number of reviews from disgruntled people about missing cookies, that’s a lot of people being robbed of a lot of money. So please caution before you do order!

Sorry, but based on my personal preference I would rate this cookie average. These are my observations…I had the OG, which seems like their take on a traditional chocolate chip cookie. Chocolate chips were milk chocolate. Amount of chocolate chips seemed low. Cookie was undercooked for my preference, not much chewiness but there was a nice little crunch around the bottom edge. Price at $3.50 seemed a little high compared to other deluxe cookies, but not crazy high. Cookie was served warm above room temperature. I’m guessing around 85 degrees F.

The cookies are usually good and I hate leaving bad reviews, but I've now had multiple online delivery orders never show up despite being labeled "delivered", both by door dash partner (which isn't necessarily their responsibility) and their direct delivery. The cookies themselves are great if they show up

I hate to leave a one star review for a company I previously held so much regard for, but I feel as though I am out of options. I ordered cookies for local delivery on Monday, May 1st. My payment was taken (verified from my online bank statement), and an email confirmation of my order was sent to my email. The cookies did not arrive at their scheduled time. Nor did they arrive at all that day. I never received any sort of call, text, or email that my order couldn't be delivered or that there were any issues. I sent an email on Tuesday, May 2nd explaining that my cookies didn't arrive, and I didn't get any response back. I called later that evening and left a voice mail at the Boise location. It is now two days since Chip took my money and they haven't contacted me or reached out in any way. I actually tried calling them again a few times today, but now they aren't picking up and their voice-mail is full. I dont know whats going on, but taking payment and not delivering a service is unacceptable enough, not to mention just being completely unavailable to help customers who have issues. Until you can be sure that Chip actually plans to deliver, I would go with another cookie delivery service.
