Excellent food as always. The Gyro Shack on the Grove also has beer and seating, bonus!
We love all the Gryo Shack locations, but this one has indoor seating which makes eating with our 4 and 5 year old so much easier! The employees are always friendly and helpful and answer any questions or requests we or my kids may have. (And my kids ask for a lot sometimes! Haha) Thanks, Gyro Shack!
Small location, very clean, spendy for quantity, you're paying for quality. Friendly staff. Beautifully served, they take their time. Delicious. Fresh ingredients.
High quality and delicious. I work downtown and at least 2 times a week i'm getting a gyro here. Very affordable to if you go basic (like the original). The meat is always juicy and flavorful, the pita is soft and filling, and the sauces/hummus is on point.
The Gyro Shack is a small Greek fast-food joint that provides an authentic taste of Greece, with a flair of the states.
The food is good, and the normal portions are a reasonable size, and are quite filling. Any of their menu items can be made as a salad, which, for $1.50 extra, expands the portion size quite a deal.
The location on Main Street offers both indoor and outdoor seating.
The restaurant has a slightly unpleasant smell, but it isn't particularly bothersome.
I love this Gyro Shack the most. I love the food and the fact that they have vegetarian options makes me so happy. I also love how spicy I can make my gyro if I want to. I can add Serrano chili's if I want. Needless to say that I will be coming back over and over again!
Wow! I found this place by accident and so glad I did. The location is good, the place is small and well designed with plenty of seating. They even have a small outside eating area a real plus! The menu is simple and easy to read. The kitchen is clean, well organized and you can watch the cooking and preparing process. Employees are friendly and helpful. I thought it was well worth the money, it's fast and fresh food. I would highly recommend giving it a try.
I, along with a good friend of mine, visited the Gyro Shack here in Boise Downtown earlier today 8/3/2018. We each had & enjoyed Philly Gyros and Greek salads on-side, all of it was excellent! Ali is a great cashier and greeter alike...the staff is nice and knowledgeable with great dining fare suggestions to-boot!
Perfectly-seasoned beef, fresh veggies sauteed to perfection, amazing tzatziki sauce & other authentic Greek flavors in-Gyro, along with "fresh-to-death" Greek salad veggies/ingredients.
Will be visiting this eatery again, and quite soon, with much pleasure, just like with the State Street locale!!! Keep up all the wonderful, tasty work!
