Chili's

We live just down the street. We come here on occasion and haven’t had quite the start we had tonight. We were seated right away. After figuring out what everyone wanted we realized we still haven’t had anyone visit the table. So we waited another five minutes before I decided to get up to ask the host if we had been assigned a waiter. She said yes, had a pow wow with a group of servers and still no one came by our table. Many breakdowns there. This is the first time that we have walked out of this location.

I understand the short staff situation that most business are experiencing. 40 minutes wait to get seated, okay, but 30 minutes waiting for a server to come over to our table to at least say hi, it is ridiculous. If at least they would have the attention to get us some drinks or chips. At the end, all this was caused by the hostess. At least three servers were continuously swinging by and taking care of other customers. Anyways, we love Chilis, but it saddens us to see how they are struggling to get manpower. 5 stars because they are doing their best they can…

Waited about 45 minutes for our food. It was just my wife and I. 15 minutes after we ordered a table of 4 walked in ordered 4 separate plates , they received their food before us and my wife and I ordered 1 plate to share because we are light eaters. When we finally received our food it was very cold. Will never return !!!!

Great food and great visit with friends always (5 to 7 times a week!) but one of the waitress was always unintetive to serve me and very rude...I made a few complaints to the managers on duty over a period of a year and today they turned the situation around on me and banned me for no reason of reality! The manager even claimed she banned before, however I never even seen her before and I been in Hawaii about 10 months until recently! Also since I been back I noticed that Maggy (one of the waitress) and I few other waitress look very messy, very tight jeans and their Chilli shirts untucked and gathered above the waist... VERY unprofessional!!!, And their waitress Mattie always looks stung out and dirty!

The food was great, and the atmosphere was as expected. Masks were worn, but there wasn't a big push to be Covid aware. No sort of distancing, or sanitizing available. The food was great, the cooks should be commended. Although, I ordered ToGo and we got no silverware or other amenities. I would hope the tip went toward the cooks and line crew because the wait staff left us wanting more.
