Mary's Tacos

Mary’s used to be awesome. They are getting cheap now. Just another taco. The last few times I’ve gone, my Sean taco was mostly tortilla, and all ingredients combined barely the size of a quarter. The Sean is packed with lots of ingredients, it should be fat and overflowing. I ordered the mega sean last week, and it was the same as a regular Sean, just more tortilla, no more ingredients. Why offer it if you’re not going to fill it up. What a shame. Voted best breakfast taco in Boerne the last few years. I guess it’s time to move on. All tortilla and barely any ingredients.

Mary's tacos...The most reliable restaurant in Boerne. A thriving bastion of world-class taco culture in the heart of upper class, white bread, Boerne. Get in line, order at the register, then get the hell out of the way so the next customers in line can order. While you wait for your order, enjoy the frenetic show taking place at the center of the kitchen, where the taco artisans are assembling some of the most tasty and substantial tacos in the state of Texas. The flavors and authenticity are stellar. Mary's is the kind of restaurant you will crave. You will definitely wonder why there isn't a Mary's in every city (please open in Houston!)

Fantastic place for tacos. We got there and it was packed, but we're weren't there longer than 10 minutes. The locals order online so there's a bunch of bags with people's names on hand, but, like I said, we were out in a jiffy. The barbacoa was great, not greasy or chunky, and the papas rancheras were well cooked. They have a huge parking lot for easy on and out as well as indoor and outdoor seating.

There’s a good reason they have 1500+ five star reviews. I think everyone from time to time has tried to figure out just how many tacos this place serves each day and it would not surprise me if 10% of the population ate here daily. They’re incredible quality tortillas, loaded with egg and always fast. Check these guys out!
