Went here on Friday night for my birthday. The food was ok and our server was lovely. It's out in the middle of nowhere which is very surprising. The instagram posts really enticed me but I was a bit dissappointed. Hubby ordered the pork chop and it was tough and chewy. I had carbonara and it was ok. This butter dessert everyone talks about was not good. I'm so sorry but it was like eating a dense sugar cookie with no sugar. Maybe I'll give the place another try but I wasn't thrilled like I thought I would be.

Aqua Pazzo in Boardman is a real gem, especially if you're into authentic Italian food. It's got a super cozy and at night romantic vibe, perfect for those special nights out or just when you want to treat yourself. It's not the brightest spot – the dining area is a bit on the darker side, but that patio is awesome. Heads up, though, the portions aren't huge. Prices are okay, not too steep. I’ve heard from many that this is one of the top spots in the Boardman/Youngstown area, and it's easy to see why. They offer a great selection of wines and the food quality is consistently excellent. Service? Impeccable. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend Aqua Pazzo to anyone looking for a great meal in the area. 🍝🍰🍷

Food was excellently prepared and balanced with salt, fat, acid, and heat, while having both subtle and complex flavors (we ordered from the seasonal Fall menu only). The chef clearly attended culinary school and has great understanding of flavor. We were less impressed with the dessert (butter cake) and found it to be one-dimensional, but it was still very good. The Cannolis were undoubtedly excellent. I would compare them in quality to Cannoli from Mike's Pastry in Boston, though they currently only serve one flavor. Was hoping for a more knowledgeable waitstaff with stronger recommendations, though they were very friendly and sought to make our time special there. For a restaurant shooting for an upscale experience, I was also surprised to see the waitstaff wearing t-shirts and jeans, though I would not say this has anything to do with the diminished rating. It was _incredibly_ loud in the restaurant when we went on a Friday night and we were seated in the middle of the dining room next to the kitchen. We were surrounded on all sides with full tables which was not pleasant. Otherwise the atmosphere is elegantly & tastefully decorated. Understandably, our waitress focused heavily on larger groups of guests ordering drinks, but it left us waiting for water refills & the check for an inappropriate amount of time. I'll still give the restaurant a strong rating due to how delicious the food was, but the dining experience is not perfect & has room for improvement. Having said that, we will be back :) I would recommend improvements in sound absorption to the owner, specifically in the dining area next to the kitchen.

Amazing food! Great service. Incredible value. I thought I was in Italy. As a world traveler and foodie I had a little bit of everything. Octopus, meatballs, grilled asparagus. My partner had the steak and giant portion size. Atmosphere had koi fish pond, Sofia Loren pictures. Don’t miss it. We have already been back 2more times. Wine list is extensive. And if you want a private party room they have that too.

Listen. It doesn't get much better than this place. Best eggplant I have ever had. Their butter cake is so delicious. Not just good, it's amazing.

They seated us near the kitchen so it smelled of smoke. I expected the space to be nicer from pictures I saw online. Veal meatballs were awful. Tasteless, no crisp. Sauce was bland. Bread was stale Calabrese of the sort. Short rib pasta was pretty good. Service was good. Probably wouldn't return.

The atmosphere, drinks and food were absolutely amazing but the staff truly made the evening perfect. My husband and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and couldn’t be happier. We got the lamb lollipops and octopus for appetizers, which were to die for. The pasta was perfectly aldente and full of flavor. (Definitely get the arribiata pasta) Our waitress of the evening, Becky, was so warm and welcoming and made the entire evening one to remember. Highly recommend for any celebration or just an excuse to go out!

The food was absolutely delicious, and we sat on the patio where they have a koi pond and a very elegant atmosphere with friendly staff.

This place was amazing. The atmosphere is super cute, the bar area is nice and cozy, and the whole feel of the place gives very upscale vibes. The burrata and prosciutto was a great appetizer! I got the spaghetti cacio e pepe and it was a very nice buttery cheese sauce while my wife got the seafood spaghetti which was also very well made. The seafood spaghetti was a touch spicy though which was a surprise to her. We also had the tiramisu and the butter cake for dessert. The tiramisu was an interesting interpretation of traditional flavors, but we won't order that again. The butter cake however, was incredible. Our friends recommended we try it, and admittedly we were skeptical with the name, but it is the best thing on their dessert menu.
