Stag Bar And Grill

This place is a local iconic bar. It’s interior is currently being renovated, however they still have some old classic decor. It makes for a perfect scene. They do allow indoor smoking on one side of the bar, be prepared. They offer a full menu of typical bar food. The drinks and food were both good. They have a digital juke box, pool tables, darts and a couple of arcade games.

Definitely a local bar, as someone visiting from far away I can't say the place had a very inviting feel to it. But the beers were cheap and the food (a Beast Burger made with beef, bison, wild boar and elk, topped with onion rings, cheese, and bacon job) was really good. If you don't mind cigarette smoke, this was a good place to eat and have a few beers

We have ate here many times. Always as a carryout. Tonight we got two specials of braised beef short rib cheesy mashed and asparagus. Short rib good but pretty fatty. Potatoes were excellent. Then got 2 double cheeseburgers one with fries one with onion rings. Also 2 orders mini tacos an order of breaded mushrooms and a tenderloin. Cheeseburgers were good but buns a little hard. They did not put ketchup on them like we asked either. Tenderloin was thick and very good. But wanted mayo and they put one little dab on it. Food good but the price was very expensive. $75 for what i listed. Called in order 40 minutes early. When i got there everything was there but one sandwich and had to wait about 10 minutes for it in the smoke filled room with noone wearing a mask including wait staff.

If you want a good meal, look no further! A lot of people are turned off by this being a bar. Don't let that stop you. The food is amazing!!! Great friendly staff. I'm not even embarassed to say we order lunch here at least 2-3 times a week. ;) I love the burgers, breaded tenderloins, and boomboom shrimp.
