It's called A9 Korean BBQ & Hot Pot now and the food is fresh and excellently prepared and presented. It's a bit crowded and gets warm due to everyone having BBQ grills and hot spots on at the tables but it's always great fun with friends! BYOB foe now. They are still waiting on beer and wine license.

What a fantastic place to get sushi. Kevin the owner extremely friendly make sure everything was done correctly. Try the BMW roll. Try the spicy tuna. Spiders roll. some of the best sushi we’ve had since we’ve lived here. Definitely going back multiple times per week to support this local business. Not a large franchise. Support local businesses and their families. You will not be disappointed going to this sushi bar. Wonderful Japanese restaurant. Real Japanese with largest selection of "rolls" I have seen. Incredible combinations of sushi along with other tidbits on a number of them.
Being a traditionalist, I ordered a number of sushi's and they were properly prepared, perfectly sized, fresh and great looking. Most importantly, tasted good.
The person who made these was more than extremely nice and helpful. I was even impressed speaking to him on the phone. Initially for information regarding his restaurant and then, a few days later - to place my order.
Unfortunately for the time being, Fujiyama is carry out only as they are having a problem hiring help as are many businesses in Bluffton and Hilton Head. It to me is a wise decision, as I have gone to too many restaurants open to seating without adequate staff, and only had poor experiences. These poor experiences could hurt their business in the long run. People tend to remember their last experience in a restaurant and if not good - don't go back.
When Fujiyama reopens for eat in, in addition to carry out, my rating will probably rise to 5 stars.
For now I recommend them for carryout orders. They package carryout incredibly well and you will really enjoy their food.

Really like their hibachi and their sushi is very good as well! Been coming here for a couple of years, it's a family run small business and they are very nice and pleasant. Since covid it's just been take out only, can't wait till they are open for dine in again.

Tried some takeout tonight and wow were we blown away! The sushi tasted extremely fresh and melted in your mouth. The inside seemed pleasant as well were we able to dine in again. Seemed to be a family-owned business. Show them support!

You will not find a better sushi place on Hilton Head or Bluffton. I've tried so many and finally found Bluffton's sushi sweet spot. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. The service is fast and always friendly. The deals are great for sushi and other cooked meals. The food? The absolute best! I try a different dish every time and have yet to be disappointed. And yes, they do take-out too.

Sushi roll was great! Tried the crispy flounder and that was really good too! Can't ever go wrong with ginger salad and miso soup! Can tell it is family owned, great atmosphere! Definitely worth checking out, you will enjoy!
