This restaurant happens to be very close to my place of employment. This is my second time here. Both times, I ordered a Philly cheese steak. Although the Philly cheese steak was very good it did not meet my expectations. The price was high and the cheesesteak did not compare to one I can buy from Gino's in Philadelphia. I would say the name does not suit this establishment.

Buffalo chicken philly was absolutely AMAZING. So were the fries with their horseradish mayo. Staff and cook were super friendly. The decor has a old school diner vibe.

Fantastic food. Arnold makes the best cheesesteaks on Long Island. The cheesesteak could even rival Geno’s from Philadelphia. Definitely worth it.

I don’t give too many 5 star ratings; great cheesesteaks. I had Arn’s Favorite and fell in love again! Well worth a trip for the best “Blue Point” cheesesteaks; where is philly . . . Rearview mirror.

By far the best cheeaesteaks on the island. I would definitely recommend beyond philly to any philly enthusiast. So many optionsto choose from. Staff is polite and helpful. Food ismade to order. Its fast freshand delicious.

I'm from Philly and this is probably best cheesesteak I've had outside of Philly (also a place in Boulder CO surprisingly that has a good one). Most are straight trash and not something you would ever see in Philly but this one is great.
Place had decent seating, I wish they served beer but not a big deal. Fries were overcooked IMO but that could have been a single time issue. But overall I loved it.

OK. Here's the deal. I love Philly's Cheesesteaks. I always get "whiz wit", which means Cheese Whiz and onions. I remember going to visit my cousins in South Philly and going to Pat's late at night. So obviously I've had Pat's, Jim's on South St., John's Roast Pork (Cheesesteaks), Talk of the Town, (don't remember having Genos) and a few of the places that have opened in NYC and around in the last 15 years or so, with Shorty's earning a very high mark on my list. Beyond Philly is as good as you'll get in Eastern LI. It's still a 5 star review the bread was similar to the hoagie rolls used in Philly and the meat was good. The shop was clean and service was good and the decor cool. I'll give the Cheesesteaks an 7+/8, my 2 cents, too much whiz, easily fixed for my next visit and the meat was good but slightly over chopped. Having said that I look forward to visiting again. Well done guys.
